Responsibilities

Advise internal teams on risk management and optimal case outcomes.
Apply expertise in medical reimbursement to drive efficient, compliant case resolution.
Directly review and handle complex workers' compensation claims as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to execute case strategies and achieve results.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar license in Oregon; multi-state licensure a plus.
5-10 years' experience managing attorneys and legal counsel, preferably in workers' compensation.
Strong expertise in workers' compensation litigation strategy, including complex cases.
Deep knowledge of multi-state regulations, procedures, and compliance requirements in workers' compensation.
Proficiency in medical reimbursement practices and their application in workers' compensation claims.
Demonstrated ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on case management.
Experience working with expert witnesses in litigation or claims resolution.
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders.
Proven ability to adapt quickly to evolving regulations and changing case dynamics.
Must be based in the Portland metro area or able to commute regularly.

Program Summary
The Refugee & Immigrant Family Strengthening (RIFS) program was launched by IRCO in 1998 in response to the large volume of immigrants and refugees coming to the Tri-County area who were survivors of abuse. These newly arrived community members did not know how or where to go for services or resources and faced additional community, religious, or language barriers to obtaining such support. RIFS was designed to be a unique, community focused program that serves immigrant and refugee survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. RIFS is comprised of a team of Advocates who help survivors with safety planning, crisis intervention, emergency and stabilized housing solutions, intensive bilingual case management, interpretation, translation services, building self-sufficiency, accessing grants or other assistance funds, legal advocacy and court accompaniment, transportation, and immigration issues. RIFS also conducts prevention education and outreach in our immigrant and refugee communities and beyond.
Position Summary
RIFS DV/SA Advocates assist individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking. RIFS DV/SA Advocates utilize a survivor-centered, strengths-based, empowerment model to cultivate trust, establish and promote trauma-informed communication, and provide advocacy, direct services and support, and case management that facilitates, encourages, and assists clients to reach their goals.

Access family legal services and obtain protective orders (restraining orders or stalking orders) for participants when necessary
Make referrals to legal immigration services; assist participants in gathering documents and evidence, write letters of support when requested, and obtain clearance from law enforcement
Provide or secure interpretation, translation, and accessibility services
Maintain confidential participant files including records of intakes, case management plans, and all contacts and referral

Qualifications
Basic Requirements/Certifications:

Qualified Mental Health Associate (OAR # 309 - 032 - 1110 (71).
Requirements for QMHA are defined under the current OAR as either A or B:
Experience: A combination of three years' experience, work, education or training revolving around child mental health, child development and/or social skill development.
Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in the behavioral sciences field AND communicate effectively, understand mental health assessment, treatment and service terminology and to apply the concepts, provide psychology skills development, and implement interventions as assigned on an individual plan of care.
Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Applicant must successfully pass required background clearances prior to an offer of employment.
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
Availability to work flexible hours (evenings, nights, weekends).
Must provide acceptable driving abstract per CCS driving policy.
Demonstrates the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi-cultural situations.
Support and uphold the mission, beliefs and values of Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related field.
Experience in a non-profit or a social service agency working with youth and families who need assistance.
Knowledge of sexually/physically aggressive youth and their needs.
Knowledge of family systems and child development.

Confidential Advocacy is part of the Administrative Services department within the Center for Student for Student Health and Counseling (SHAC). This program addresses sexual and gender based violence at PSU by providing trauma informed support for students. Students are supported with connections, resources, information, and campus-coordinated response efforts at all institutional levels.
This confidential advocate position provides confidential and legally privileged advocacy services (including safety planning, academic and housing accommodations, financial aid, accompaniment throughout reporting processes, emotional support, and other referral/resource) directly to students in the University community who have experienced gender-based violence: relationship violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, or stalking. The Advocate collaborates with campus and community partners to formulate strategies that best serve the survivor and the community. The Advocate will work closely with the Confidential Advocacy Coordinator in supporting campus change by providing direct advocacy services & training for PSU students, faculty, and staff. This position will also educate the campus community about the integral role that each of us have in ending interpersonal violence and providing survivor centered responses to disclosures of violence. This in-person position with no option for remote work.

Youth Specialists assist in facilitating the day-to-day services offered in the Day Services Program and the Transitional Living Program. Support for Day Program and Transitional Living Program services can include assisting with youth skill-building activities, including healthy recreation and art activities, food preparation, and helping ensure a safe and respectful program space. Youth Specialists are also responsible for appropriately responding to crises. This is an on-call position. Must be available for overnight (awake) shifts in the Transitional Living Program.
Essential Duties
* Build positive relationships with youth through role modeling and mentoring.
* Help direct new or returning youth to navigate the screening and assessment process.
* Educate youth about the Homeless Youth Continuum and how to access available services and resources. Engage youth in Outside In program offerings.
* Be available on-site to residents in Transitional Living Program and/or Day Program during shifts.
* Provide individualized support to youth. Respond to youth crises as needed.
* Support the smooth function of the Food Program in the Day Program by participating in food preparation of meals as needed.
* Assure material and operational support of the Day and Transitional Living Programs. This can include assisting with cleaning/room turnover in the Transitional Living Program and assisting with food preparation/serving of meals in the Day Program as needed.

Full-time Description
NAYA Family Center is seeking a trauma informed and experienced Domestic Violence Advocate to join our Family Services Department within the Healing Circle Program. This role provides culturally specific, trauma-informed support and case management for Native American-identified survivors of domestic violence. You will work closely with participants, community partners, and team members to ensure safety, access to resources, and survivor-led advocacy.

Who You Are:
You have a Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, or 3+ years of experience supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence; applicable lived experience is considered.
You are knowledgeable about the justice system, local victim services, and culturally specific support for Native American communities.
You are experienced in trauma-informed, survivor-led, and harm reduction approaches.
You have strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
You are able to manage a high-volume caseload (10-15 participants) efficiently and remain composed in stressful situations.
You are proficient with computer tools, including MS Office, web-based research, and database systems for case management (e.g., ETO, Counselor Max, SAGE).
What You'll Do:
Provide individualized case management, including crisis intervention, safety planning, goal setting, and advocacy for legal, medical, and housing needs.
Maintain accurate and confidential records, completing intakes, danger assessments, goal plans, and required documentation.
Assist participants with accessing public benefits, protective orders, and other resources.
Coordinate wraparound services and collaborate with other NAYA programs and community partners.
Participate in program, department, agency, and community meetings as assigned.
Provide navigation services at the Gateway Center for Domestic Violence one day per week.
Uphold trauma-informed practices and culturally specific support for all participants.
Maintain confidentiality at all times and complete VAWA compliant releases of information as appropriate.
Other duties as assigned by the Healing Circle Manager and Family Services Director.
