Overview Summary AECOM is seeking a qualified Construction ProjectManager (CPM) to provide PM/CM support for a Federal Building Fire Alarm Modernization construction project. The position is full-time embedded on-site field construction support role.
Position Summary PM supporting General Services Admin. (GSA) "Owner" and their agencies "Tenants". Duties involve managing the Owner's interests (not the construction team) on a single project, at the project site to achieve specified objectives. Involves engaging and leading the project delivery team providing CPM / Owner's Representative supporting the project completion and FA Class-A Acceptance.
Reports directly to the AECOM Business Development Leader.
Manages the project to achieve specified objectives. Involves overall planning, coordination, and control of a project support to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time, within budget and of the intended quality.
Serve as Owners Rep. during design, construction, and Cx/closeout activities - as primary point of contact in the field - collaborates and coordinates per the contract and communication plan with the GSA CO (and the PM/COR, Ppty Mgr, O&M, key stakeholders, etc); and interfaces with the project Contractor (DB team), providing proactive project assessment and support, and maintains team engagement, and client satisfaction. Oversight of the Fire Alarm Modernization work includes ancillary work and systems integration and modernization as required.
This position is independent of and DOES NOT supervise, manage, or direct the DB Team or their Subs / Trade Partners.
Delivers revenues resulting from exceptional quality and execution of projects. Maintains profit margins and plans and completes project(s) without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
Builds / supports collaborative project teams. Provides TQR and oversight of I/QAM work that monitors and reports on quality of completed and ongoing work, calls for support staff. Leads team in providing comprehensive CMa support services and owner's representation, provides on-site field observation for conformance with the SOW, Contract, GSA CBS (Core Building Standards) applicable codes and standards, provides summary progress documentation of the construction activities, implementing robust Quality Assurance monitoring and assessment of the Design Build Contractor's Quality Control Plan, staff management, execution of work, reviewing and validating contractor's self-performed inspections, and certifying work in place for recommending payment of Invoices and accepting work, provides real time feedback to the client regarding scope of work completion and contract compliance; recognizes risk and uncertainty and develops plans to mitigate and eliminate such, and operates to minimize unsatisfactory work and exposure to claims.

**Job Description**
The Water Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, Water Design-Build Senior ProjectManager. This position will be part of an exciting team employing the latest technologies to solve critical water supply, treatment, and infrastructure projects such as water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems throughout the United States. **Job Responsibilities:**
The Senior ProjectManager will be charged with responsibility to actively direct the performance of ongoing Design Build water and wastewater projects as well as take a leadership role in the development and capture of upcoming design build pursuits.
It is desirable that the DB Senior ProjectManager is capable of performing in both conceptual and detailed engineering and construction projectmanagement capacities. As a DB Senior ProjectManager the primary responsibilities will include managing the activities of a multi-discipline design through AECOM's design centers, as well as overall projectmanagement for procurement of process equipment and subcontractors, scheduling, VE or constructability reviews, familiarity with job cost reporting, and budget control activities through the life of the project, including EAC analysis during on-site construction as prime contracting entity. Demonstration of strong commercial and construction contract experience
Those Projectmanagers with either Design Build projectmanagement experience will be considered especially those with water/wastewater industry experience or those with experience in industrial (process) oriented construction fields.
**Fiscal Experience** - Proven projectmanagement skills to delivery projects at or under budget and on schedule. Working knowledge of job accounting and reporting methods such as earned value and estimates to complete.
**Team Oriented** - This position requires the skill set to directly oversee and manage detailed engineering and construction teams working collaboratively together to deliver the project.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Environmental, Sanitary, Chemical Engineering or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Primary Responsibilities
HDR is currently in need of a ProjectManager to advance the planning, design and construction administration of water and wastewater facilities projects in Ohio. It is envisioned this candidate would have a mix of client development, projectmanagement, and project delivery responsibilities.
Candidates for this position should have experience directing project staff and will lead water/wastewater projects as a projectmanager. - The ProjectManager/Program Manager is responsible for the overall direction and performance of construction planning operations in their assigned department to ensure work is performed in conformity with specific project requirements, site standards and goals.
- Principal areas of responsibility include planning staff management, and involvement in workload forecasting, schedule management, cost management, quality assurance, safety, security, and labor relations.
- Manage, monitor, and control the construction planning organization and its functions in a Lean IPD Format. Our format of project delivery is form fitted to our client and is a model that has been developed in order to get the best possible outcome on project execution at lowest cost. Includes collaboration from all parties (client, engineering, trade partners and Fluor) to eliminate waste, provide innovative solutions, cost benchmarking, client satisfaction, and reliability
- Maintain communication with client personnel involved in projectmanagement to ensure organizational as well as personnel project involvement needs are being met.
- The ProjectManager/Program Manager is responsible for but not limited to all activities from Project Initiation to the start of construction.
- The Fluor ProjectManager/Program Manager supports through construction and is again responsible at project closeout.
- During project initiation meet with Client & Fluor management to establish Core Team and Evaluate Project Opportunities & Complexitie
- The ProjectManager/Program Manager and Lead Area Planner will identify the construction staffing needs and gain alignment with the Site Manager
- The ProjectManager/Program Manager will then assign the proper Planners to support the project.
- Develop overall project sourcing and execution strategy with the core team and document these decisions in the project execution plan.
- Develop and execute sourcing plan & BVOA's for project.
- Maintain project schedule updates as required for the project with support from the project team.
- Aid with developing and submitting Construction turn over (CTO) packages.
- Ensure that the development of the conceptual scope of work during the FEE (Front End Engineering) stage is fully supported.
- Work with Fluor Planners and construction vendors to document all base scope blocks during Front End Planning that will be used as a basis for each vendors Target Value Estimate
- Organize & maintain the projects Win/Loss Metrics & insure they are documented in Fluor's O.C.S. (Operations Control System) with support from the assigned Project Lead Planner
- Facilitate teams in setting up design review and release structures.
- On larger teams, work cluster groups may need to be developed to ensure information is received by all customers.
- Stay informed of engineering documents, vendor information and final design deliverables as needed from the client, design engineers and construction during all phases of the project.
