As a
Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer
, you will play a key role in both technical execution and team leadership. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to
Lead and oversee the design and development of water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and distribution projects.
Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, technical specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
Manage project schedules, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff.
Perform capacity analysis for water and wastewater systems (as applicable).
Review and stamp engineering deliverables in accordance with professional licensure requirements.
Stay current with emerging technologies, sustainability practices, and evolving industry regulations.
Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field and 8 years of relevant experience in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Experience with civil/environmental engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, or similar).
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida.
Valid US Driver's License, and as a condition of employment, pass AECOM's motor vehicle records review.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure design, including pipelines and lift stations.
Experience with design-build or alternative project delivery methods.
Experience leading multi-office or multidisciplinary design teams.
Knowledge of sustainability practices, green infrastructure, and advanced treatment technologies.
Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
Experience in construction phase engineering services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and technical presentations.

Our Miami office has an opportunity available for a Driller Trainee. A driller trainee will assist the crew chief in solid auger and rotary drilling techniques. The trainee will help move, set up and operate drill rigs and related equipment to drill test holes for geotechnical engineering studies. Site investigation/geotechnical drilling is done to determine the soil characteristics on sites to be developed as building, roadways and bridges. Work is outdoors. RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist in drilling operations.
* Expedite field supplies.

Job Description
AECOM is seeking a CEI Construction Services Inspector to be based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida area.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
The Inspector will be responsible for inspecting construction work and conducting field tests for compliance with contract documents
Responsible for performing assignments assisting Senior CEI Inspector in the performance of their duties and who reviews work while in progress
Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties
Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.
Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning
Tracks quality assurance progress
Construction inspection of roadway and bridge construction
Monitoring on site construction activities
Conduct inspections, observations and run materials tests and checking construction work
Communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
Receiving general supervision from and assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma plus 2 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid U.S Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review

Guidance on risk management and adherence to company policies

Manage various types of litigation matters and claims utilizing outside counsel retained by the company to maximize quality and cost-effectiveness
Handle subpoenas, document requests, and other litigation related items with limited support staff

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

Ability to travel periodically - approximately 10%
