**Job Description**
AECOM is seeking an experienced **Transportation Planning Senior Manger** to join our team in DMV geography. This role will have various senior management responsibilities including business development efforts with business line leadership to grow the transportation business in the sub-region, resource management at a sub-regional level, developing and implementing strategies for operational efficiencies and technical quality, and supporting various programs and individual projects.

+ Facilitate communication between teams to ensure that resource assignments are clear and that resources are fully utilized on high-priority tasks.
+ Analyze capacity and skillset requirements and collaborate with HR and leadership to plan for future resource needs, including hiring, training, and workshare.
+ Provide regular updates on resource status and utilization to senior management, including recommendations for optimizing resource use.
+ Assist in forecasting resource needs for future projects and initiatives, ensuring the right mix of skills and capacity is available.
+ Foster a collaborative and productive work environment by resolving resource-related conflicts and balancing workload demands.
+ Develop and/or implement standardized processes, best practices, and metrics to improve operational efficiency, deliverable quality, and team collaboration.
+ Monitor and report on the progress of ongoing planning projects, identifying potential risks and bottlenecks, and providing solutions to maintain project schedules.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field and 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.
+ Experience in business development, resource management, project management, and/or operations within an engineering or technical environment.
+ Demonstrate a strong understanding of engineering processes and have experience with aligning resources effectively with technical requirements.
+ Experience overseeing multiple technical teams while managing competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ AICP certification
+ Master of Planning, Engineering or Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree
+ If an engineer, Professional Engineer (PE) License in Maryland, DC and Virginia
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing needs, and solve complex problems.

Launched in October 2018, Wadata will continue until September 2025. To achieve its objective, Wadata is implementing activities in three integrated focus areas:

Overview
We seek high-quality graphic design services from a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Designer. The ideal candidate will assist Wadata in producing high-quality knowledge-sharing products and facilitate the transfer of the successes and lessons learned during Wadata's implementation.
The overall objective of this role is the effective and engaging design and layout of key communication products for knowledge sharing, including case studies, success stories, technical briefs, reports, and other learning and communication products focused on sharing project implementation, successes, lessons learned, and promising approaches for the sustainability of relevant resilience-building actions. The graphic designer will collaborate closely with the Strategic Learning Lead and select Niger-based Wadata staff in this position.
The estimated ceiling budget for this engagement is USD 7,500.00.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with Wadata's team to develop, design, and edit knowledge sharing products such as case studies, success stories, technical briefs, reports, and learning documents, adhering to client branding and visual identity guidelines. These products will be tailored to multiple audiences, including community-level stakeholders and participants, the host government, other development organizations, funding organizations, the U.S. government, and other interested parties.
* Design and edit graphic elements for short videos.

Qualifications:

Proposal Summary:
This project supports the U.S. Courts in delivering complex IT modernization and management services to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. In the role of Senior Water Resources Engineer, we'll count on you to:
* Provide project and task management; conduct difficult to complex hydraulic and hydrologic modeling; conduct stormwater collection systems modeling and design; collect, assimilate and present data in reports, memos and public forums; lead production of design calculations and technical reports; and lead preparation of engineering plans and specifications for design of detention facilities, storm drains, flood control facilities and other hydraulic structures
* Work independently in addition to planning, organizing and supervising the work of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians dependent on project/task
* Serve as project manager on larger projects as needed
* Prepare proposal, scopes of work and contract cost estimates
* Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
* A minimum of 10 years Water Resources experience
* Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
* HEC-1, HEC-RAS, GEO-RAS, Storm CAD, Haested Methods
* Experience in water resources planning, hydrology/hydraulics and drainage/flood control design
* Familiarity with DOT drainage design criteria
* Experience in FEMA studies a plus
* Excellent writing and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a project team

Position Responsibilities
Assists in preparation of solutions to general and engineering problems. Checks and coordinates details and dimensions under supervision.
Performs structural analysis and design under supervision.
Assists in preparation of design and construction documents.
Provides independent general drafting work relating to specific areas of project.
Reviews shop drawing and product submittals for general conformance with the structural engineering documents.
Handles a reasonable workload to meet project tasks deadlines and commitments under regular direction from the supervisor.
Generates ideas under direction relative to the task in hand for review and selection by others.
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. in Civil Engineering or B.Eng required; Master's degree in Structural Engineering a plus.
