Be proficient in all aspects of mechanical system design, including HVAC, for projects of all sizes, leading junior engineers in engineering design development and professional growth.

Coordinate with multiple disciplines and act as the lead mechanical engineer to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule, while managing the mechanical team, including HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing.
Ensure conformance with standards, established design practices, applicable codes, and technical adequacy of design and construction.
Review and approve shop drawings and attend client meetings during the construction administration phase.
Mentor and guide junior engineering staff, fostering professional growth and skill development.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program.
BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Completion of Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and PE license
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of mechanical engineering experience within a consulting or design-build firm.
Knowledge and experience with ASHRAE standards, IPC, IMC, and IECC codes.
Proficient in all conventional aspects of mechanical engineering and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard mechanical engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Experience in the following markets: federal, healthcare, laboratory, and corporate commercial/mixed use.
Experience with LEED and sustainable design projects.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Working independently, while ensuring the timely and cost-effective execution of assigned cases;
Serving as the primary point of contact with clients including development and coordination of case budgets, work orders, site visits, cost estimates, and associated deliverables.
