HDR is seeking a highly motivated Senior Transit Project Manager to support HDR's Transit Market Sector. This position will provide project management and technical services to Transit agency clients. Specifically, this individual will work to pursue, manage, and deliver projects and respond to client needs related to rail/transit projects. This position requires strong management skills and the ability to work with different facets of rail and public agency staff and capital projects.
The ideal candidate will have broad experience working with Transit public agencies. The successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local standards and requirements associated with railway projects, design, operations, and maintenance and an understanding of project delivery processes for various phases of project development such as planning, conceptual design and feasibility, environmental documentation, preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E), and providing Design Support During Construction (DSDC) and Construction Management (CM). Choreograph a multi-disciplinary practice of design, technical, management, business development, and marketing/communications professionals.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in Architecture plus 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Professional License as Architect (RA, AIA) or Planner (AICP).
Preferred Qualifications:
15 years of experience in a leadership role with an Architecture, Engineering or consulting firm focused on Urban cities and transit-oriented projects.
Minimum 5 years of recent experience as a proven rainmaker in the Design and Building industries, demonstrating exceptional work-winning capabilities and driving business growth as a key player in business development efforts.

The Environmental Business Line of AECOM is seeking a Hazardous Building Material/Industrial Hygiene Project Manager for immediate employment with the Northeast department of the EHS & Air Practice. This candidate is expected to report to the Boston, MA, Chelmsford, MA, or Manchester, NH office.
The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate at least 8 years of experience performing and managing building hazardous material (asbestos, lead paint, etc.) surveys, abatement oversight, and design and/or industrial hygiene projects. This is anticipated to be a seller/doer role, combining technical project execution with business development. On the business development side, responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and securing contracts (both internally and externally). This dual role requires a balance of technical expertise, project management skills, and business acumen to successfully grow the business while delivering exceptional service to clients.
The job responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:
+ Managing and/or self-performing a wide range of hazardous building material and industrial hygiene projects for both private and public-sector clients
+ Collaborating with other licensed/certified professionals and technical/regulatory specialists on hazardous building material and industrial hygiene projects. These projects are expected to include survey and investigation work, abatement/remediation design, and abatement/remediation.
+ Provide technical and/or regulatory leadership for hazardous building material and industrial hygiene projects throughout New England, the US, and internationally.
+ Develop proposals, including work scope, budgets and schedules for hazardous building material survey/design/abatement and other industrial hygiene projects.
+ Manage or provide review of technical work and field activities, including performing oversight of projects to confirm work is being done in accordance with the contracted scope of work, budget, schedule and regulatory/industry standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

This position supports various rail and transit projects throughout North America to serve the contract requirements and respond to client needs.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing technical specifications, criteria and drawings for AC and DC traction power systems and the interfaces to train control, communications, rolling stock, operations control centers and other elements of rail systems. As such, the candidate will have the ability to pro-actively lead tasks between technical groups and be innovative in solving complex challenges.
Responsibilities:
1) Project work will include electrification distribution design for Streetcar, Electrified Bus, Light Rail, Heavy Rail, Commuter Rail and High Speed Rail Projects operating on Overhead Contact or Third Rail Systems.
2) Design work would include OCS design, sectionalizing, equipment sizing and protection, SCADA and control center interface, system feeders and returns, traction power distribution systems, bonding and grounding, etc.
3) Mentoring and development of staff in traction power and OCS design practices is
4) Project management work will include client needs coordination, scoping, fee preparation, scheduling, budget tracking, and delivery of work products.
5) Project pursuits, client development, opportunity tracking and proposal work is required.
6) Work location would include both Home Office and short term travel to cities installing or planning to install Electrified Transit Systems. Long term field assignments may also be available.
Skills and additional attributes:
* Individual must be technically competent, with recognized rail specialization that resolves problems of significant scope and complexity.
* The individual should have industry standing in technical committees in the electrification field, and have established relationships with rail and transit clients throughout North America.
* Experience in designing AC and DC traction power and distribution systems for trolley, streetcar, light rail, metro rail, commuter and high-speed rail systems.
* In addition to performing design work by themselves, the individual will be required to plan, organize, and coordinate the tasks and assignments for a group of professionals and technicians across multiple projects.
* Past experience leading teams and having direct client interface and complete project life-cycle (design, installation, testing and commissioning) is required.
* Experience as a group leader or Department Head for TPS/OCS work for an agency and consultant is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field - (Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
* Advanced degree preferred
* PE license required
* 15 years experience in railway electrification systems
* Industry standing and involvement in AREMA, APTA, IEEE Technical committees
* Solid experience with electrification systems for intercity, commuter systems, heavy rail, light rail, street car and electrified bus operations
* AC/DC traction electrification, overhead contact and distribution system design and implementation is required
* Experience with CADD tools and ability to complete designs individually
* Must have excellent organizational and communication skills

Job Description
AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Technician III to join our Mechanicsburg Remediation team. You will work on a diverse range of projects delivering remediation system solutions to our key clients.
The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team, clients, site personnel and office management, and work both independently and as part of a project team. In addition, the successful candidate will be committed to the team's success and growth; will rigorously apply safety policies and procedures; and will effectively manage the quality of field efforts within the bounds of the AECOM Quality Management System.
The role requires a strong mechanical and safety aptitude, and the candidate must have experience working with plumbing, electrical, and general construction related trades. Duties include (but will not be limited to) equipment maintenance coordination, remediation system maintenance, and environmental sampling activities. Although this is a field position that involves significant equipment maintenance and construction related activities, there will be direct interaction with clients and the candidate must have experience communicating with clients on a professional level.
This position will involve travel throughout the region on a regular basis.
The job responsibilities for the position will include but are not limited to the following:
• Performs standardized or prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations.
• Conducts a variety of standardized tests and may prepare specimens; Sets up and operates standard testing equipment of moderate complexity.
• Records test data and provides observation and interpretations of it.
