Job Description
AECOM's Portland Transportation group is actively seeking a highly motivated experienced Civil Engineer with experience in roadway, highway, and/or civil site design. This role will be part of an established surface transportation group and will work with a broad variety of transportation clients and projects throughout AECOM's West Region. Projects may include:
* Roadway design
* Transportation and multi-modal planning
* Construction Management and Safety audits
* In this role you will also work collaboratively with colleagues throughout AECOM's West Region on rail/transit infrastructure projects for multiple state, local and federal government
* Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
* BA/BS + 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
* Oregon Professional Engineers License or ability to obtain license within six months
Experience with designs and plans production for transportation/civil infrastructure projects including calculations
* Prior experience designing railroads/highways/roadways for transportation projects
* Experience and ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problems
* Experience using InRoads and/or Civil 3D design software packages for the conceptual and detailed design of horizontal and vertical alignments, sections, and 3D modeling on rail and/or highway projects
* Ability to communicate effectively; verbal and written
* Design Build experience preferred

Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Wildlife Biologist (Biologist II) to join our Natural Resources team within AECOM's Environmental Permitting & Planning group. This is a full-time, hybrid position that will be based out of our Portland, OR office.
In this role, you will conduct general wildlife surveys, protocol-level wildlife surveys, habitat mapping, and other field studies related to wildlife, vegetation, and wetlands using geographic information systems (GIS) technology. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to be responsible for projects that involve biological resources inventories and impact analysis; innovative mitigation and conservation planning; multi-disciplinary teamwork with biologists, planners, and restoration ecologists; and creative integration of natural resource analysis and project design.
The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
* Lead wildlife surveys, potentially including vegetation and habitat mapping, throughout a variety of ecosystems in Washington and Oregon.
* Conduct special-status species surveys according to agency-approved protocols.
* Manage field teams and data collected during field work to ensure completeness and compliance with the survey approach.
* Travel across the Pacific Northwest to conduct field work.
* Develop final reports that describe field techniques and results that meet agency requirements.
* Assist with local, state, and federal permitting efforts.
* Assist in the development of special-status species permitting documents (e.g., ESA Section 7 biological assessments; etc.)
* Perform assignments requiring interpretation and application of federal, State, and local environmental regulations.
* Collaborate with diverse project teams, including coordinating with project managers, engineers, construction contractors, and specialists from a wide range of fields.
* Gather, analyze, and interpret ecological data, providing support for project reports and recommendations.
* Maintain accurate records of field observations and data collection processes.

Regional Business Line Leader (RBLL), Program Management (PgM), U.S. West
Reporting to the Regional Chief Executive and PgM Global Business Line (GBL) Chief Executive, this role will serve as the leader of the Program Management business within the U.S. West, collaborating with the regional leadership team, GBL leadership team, peer RBLLs in the region, Client Account Managers, and other stakeholders to coordinate all PgM matters in the region.
The role will have both profit and loss (P&L) and sales and growth responsibility. Specifically, the role is responsible for overall strategy, performance, and personnel management for the staff and projects/programs within the regional PgM business line; setting strategy for the region-wide PgM business, including providing strategic advice to other regional business lines; and overseeing a team of market sector leaders delivering programs within the business line. Responsibilities include:
* Direct accountability for all programs, projects, pursuits and staff assigned to the PgM business line.

**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking a **Wildlife Biologist (Biologist II)** to join our Natural Resources team within AECOM's Environmental Permitting & Planning group. This is a full-time, hybrid position that will be based out of our Portland, OR office.
In this role, you will conduct general wildlife surveys, protocol-level wildlife surveys, habitat mapping, and other field studies related to wildlife, vegetation, and wetlands using geographic information systems (GIS) technology. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to be responsible for projects that involve biological resources inventories and impact analysis; innovative mitigation and conservation planning; multi-disciplinary teamwork with biologists, planners, and restoration ecologists; and creative integration of natural resource analysis and project design.
**The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to, those listed below:**
+ Lead wildlife surveys, potentially including vegetation and habitat mapping, throughout a variety of ecosystems in Washington and Oregon.
+ Conduct special-status species surveys according to agency-approved protocols.
+ Manage field teams and data collected during field work to ensure completeness and compliance with the survey approach.
+ Travel across the Pacific Northwest to conduct field work.
+ Develop final reports that describe field techniques and results that meet agency requirements.
+ Assist with local, state, and federal permitting efforts.
+ Assist in the development of special-status species permitting documents (e.g., ESA Section 7 biological assessments; etc.)
+ Perform assignments requiring interpretation and application of federal, State, and local environmental regulations.
+ Collaborate with diverse project teams, including coordinating with project managers, engineers, construction contractors, and specialists from a wide range of fields.
+ Gather, analyze, and interpret ecological data, providing support for project reports and recommendations.
+ Maintain accurate records of field observations and data collection processes.

HDR is looking for a Structural EIT/Designer to support our growing Building Engineering Services team in Oregon and SW Washington. The successful candidate would be seated in the Vancouver, WA office, with opportunities to work with a wider team in the Portland, OR office and other offices across the region. HDR's Building Engineering Services Group (BES) provides structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, site civil, and specialty design services for a wide variety of building and non-building (e.g. substation, industrial, docks, fisheries, data center and water treatment) structures that include public, municipal, private, and Federal project types across the region and globally to both internal and external clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
In the role of Structural EIT/Designer, we'll count on you to:
* Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for structural engineering projects (both buildings and non-building structures)
* Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
* Work independently on small projects under the direction of a more senior engineer or assist more senior engineers on larger projects.
