to help deliver California's most critical surface transportation projects in the North Bay Area. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our group of more than 100 environmental professionals in the Bay Area.
This is a hybrid position that will involve in-person work at a client office in Oakland 2-3 days per week.
This position would support a large transportation client in northern California, with a focus on the North Bay Area region (Marin, Napa, Sonoma and Solano Counties). The position would focus on impact analysis for biological and aquatic resources with focus on technical writing including desktop reports and assessments and natural resource field surveys.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Conducting desktop analysis of biological and aquatic resources, and preparation of biological technical reports to be used in California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and/or National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and resource agency permitting.

Preparation of permit application packages for submittal to state and federal natural resource agency.

Your Role

Position Responsibilities
● Performs structural engineering design and prepares design and construction documents relative to a specific area of the project.
● Solves problems in connection with structural engineering segments of projects.
● Works with junior engineers and BIM technicians in preparation of drawings and engineering design and analysis.
● Checks and coordinates details and dimensions.
● Reviews structural engineering documents for code compliance.
● Provides independent general drafting work relating to more complicated areas of the project.
● Reviews shop drawings and product submittals for general conformance with the structural engineering documents.

Minimum Qualifications
● B.S. in Civil Engineering or B.Eng required. Master's degree in Structural Engineering a plus.
● Professional licensure process is close to completion; LEED accreditation preferred.
● Minimum 2 years of experience in design development, structural analysis, documentation and detailing on a variety of projects.
● Exhibits initiative, process innovation, and problem solving with a high attention to precision and accuracy at a task-specific level.
