Job Description
The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Resident Engineer / Department Manager for immediate employment in Cincinatti or Columbus, OH. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in the Construction Engineering and Management industry and have a proven track record of major successful projects for ODOT and local agencies.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Provides technical direction and guidance to staff and subordinate engineers/inspectors, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule
Supervises field staff, coordinates field activities, and provides project progress reports to the Client and AECOM Department Manager
Prepares and manages quality and safety plans for the project
Work with the Department Manager on development and execution of significant project pursuits and delivery
Work with the Department Manager to formulate and execute project opportunity capture strategies, including teaming and positioning for major pursuits, helping in proposal efforts and identification of required staff resources to win and effectively deliver projects
Establish relationships with external clients and customers, including industry associations and other potential consultant team members and construction contractors
Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM's values both internally and externally
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS + 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Registered Professional Engineer in Ohio.
Prior experience working with ODOT
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Valid Driver's License required
Preferred Requirements
Experience in client prepositioning activities, team (internal and external partners) and proposal development
10 + years of resident engineering experience managing major roadway and bridge construction projects
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is$176,300.00 to$293,800.00.

The typical pay range for this role is: $106,605.00 - $260,590.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Job Description
The Transportation Business Line of
AECOM
is actively seeking a highly motivated
Senior Resident Engineer / Department Manager
for immediate employment in
Cincinatti or Columbus, OH.
The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in the Construction Engineering and Management industry and have a proven track record of major successful projects for ODOT and local agencies.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Provides technical direction and guidance to staff and subordinate engineers/inspectors, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule
Supervises field staff, coordinates field activities, and provides project progress reports to the Client and AECOM Department Manager
Prepares and manages quality and safety plans for the project
Work with the Department Manager on development and execution of significant project pursuits and delivery
Work with the Department Manager to formulate and execute project opportunity capture strategies, including teaming and positioning for major pursuits, helping in proposal efforts and identification of required staff resources to win and effectively deliver projects
Establish relationships with external clients and customers, including industry associations and other potential consultant team members and construction contractors
Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM's values both internally and externally
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS + 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Registered Professional Engineer in Ohio.
Prior experience working with ODOT
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Valid Driver's License required
Preferred Requirements
Experience in client prepositioning activities, team (internal and external partners) and proposal development
10 + years of resident engineering experience managing major roadway and bridge construction projects
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
