At Aerotech, you will: Program, set-up, and operate Okamoto, Kellenberger, Mazak, and other CNC grinding machines in a precision machine shop environment Occasionally program, set-up, and operate form testers in order to inspect parts Regularly produce newly designed parts. This involves workholding selection, part process decisions, programming from scratch or modifying a similar program, detailed first part inspection, and process writeups Inspect parts with tight dimensional and form error tolerances, typically in the range of 0.000040-0.000300 inches (1-8 microns). You will use bore gauges, gauge blocks, granite surface plates, digital and dial indicators, form testers, and other precision measurement tools Select, align, and secure workholding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and accessories, typically to produce small batches of precision machined parts What will separate you from the rest?
