    **2nd Shift - Maintenance Electrician** **Shift/Pay/Additional Information:** + Direct Hire + Shift: 2nd (4:00 pm - 2:00 am) + 1st shift (7:00 am - 3:00 pm). + Expect to work 5 or 6 days a week, totaling 60 hours or more, with overtime paid at 1.5x after 8 hours daily and all day on Saturday, and double time after 12 hours daily or on the 7th consecutive day worked. + Days: 7 days a week (will eventually move to work 12, off 2) + 7 - 8's + Pay: $37.82/hr, with a 0.55 cent premium + Quarterly Bonuses + 1.5 x pay after 8 hours. + 2.0x after 12 hours + 1.5x on Saturdays + 2.0 on Sundays (Have to work 7 days straight) **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot circuit boards, DC motors, drive packages, ABB switches, and replace old drives with digital versions. + Effectively troubleshoot PLCs, with proficiency in rectifiers as a possible alternative. + Perform maintenance on 480V 3 Phase systems used in industrial cranes, steel slitters, coating machines, and conveyor lines. + Manage maintenance and troubleshooting of secondary equipment such as pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyors, pumps, gears, gearboxes, bearings, and cylinders. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Walbridge, OH. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $78666.00 - $78666.00/yr. Competitive Wages - Medical, Dental and Vision - Paid Vacations & Holidays - Quarterly Profit-Sharing Bonus - Company-Paid Life w/AD&D - Short-Term/Long-Term Disability - HSA/FSA Options - 401(k) w/Company Match - Quarterly. $200-$300 basically a few hundred right now but trending up. In 2018 was $12,000 (so $3,000 every 3 months). Based on what profit is. Eligible right away so depending on the day he starts would get something for Q2, it is pro rated based on the day he starts. - Holidays - 10 paid holidays a year. Have to get probationary before eligible (90 days). Would miss Memorial and 4th of July. o Vacation - Based on hours worked would get 2 weeks of vacation 1st of January in 2025. 1,480 hours in a year that next year he will get 2 weeks of vacation January 1st. Can request time off if have things already planned would just be unpaid for now. 3 weeks = 5yrs mark on anniversary date. 4 weeks = 10yrs. - Union contract through Sept. 2026. 2% increase in pay each year for next two years. - Tuition Reimbursement - no program in place now. But open to discussion once he nails down what he's looking for. - Pay: o Current: $36.90/hr. o 2nd Shift: $36.90/hr. + $0.55 (Any hours worked between 3:00pm - 11:00pm) o 3rd Shift: $36.90/hr. + $0.70 (Any hours worked between 11:00pm - 7:00am) - Vacation: o 2024: NO PTO. He could ask for an unpaid week off... but he won't have ANY paid time off. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation, while ensuring compliance with NEC, IEC, and other applicable electrical codes and safety standards. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and industrial equipment. + Diagnose and repair electrical issues in machinery and control systems. + Install, test, and commission new electrical components and systems. + Maintain and update electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. + Work with PLCs (e.g., Siemens), VFDs, motors, relays, and other automation systems. + Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, and other applicable electrical codes and safety standards. + Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams to enhance equipment functionality. + Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime. + Document maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). **Essential Skills** + Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting. + Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting methods. + Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems. + Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams. + Solid understanding of electrical safety practices and codes. + Electrical troubleshooting up to 480v. + Proficiency in computer skills for documentation purposes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with project work and light manufacturing. + Open to performing preventive maintenance work. + Ability to troubleshoot electrical, wiring, and mechanical issues. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Akron, OH. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $72800.00/yr. 401K Medical PTO Long term Short term **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Akron,OH. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Dec 12, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
