The role involves ensuring that all areas of the mold are adequately covered with resin-saturated fiberglass matting to provide the required strength of the finished component. This process includes using a chop gun or hands to apply the fiberglass, pressing out air bubbles and pockets, and strategically placing spacing blocks for two-part molds. Additional tasks include mixing resins and removing the cured product from the mold.
