**Aerotek's client is looking for Concrete Carpenters in the Virginia area to join their team.** **Responsibilities** + Perform formwork, placement of anchor bolts and placement of embeds + Perform placement of rebar + Perform placement of concrete including large mass pours, foundations, formed piers, formed walls, supported slabs and small areas of slab on grade + Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required + Inspect and replace damaged frameworks, structures, and fixtures. + Take apart bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures. + Load or unload building materials for construction. + Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures. + Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Basic math skills to measure materials accurately. + Ability to read and interpret maps, sketches, drawings, and specifications. + Understand and follow oral and written instructions. + Perform physical activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. + Establish and maintain effective working relationships. + Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. + Must have reliable transportation to job sites. + Must be punctual and ready with all necessary tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in carpentry, framing, finish carpentry, concrete, drywall, and use of hand tools. + Experience in commercial construction is a plus. **Why Work Here?** + We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, short/long term disability, life insurance, and a 401K plan with company match. + Enjoy nine paid holidays and up to twenty days of PTO. + We provide opportunities for career advancement and professional development in a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
