**Job Title: Building Engineer** **Job Description** The Building Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment across all systems. This role requires demonstrated technical expertise in at least one core trade-Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, or Central Utility Plant Operations-along with multi-skilled capabilities in other areas to effectively complete daily and weekly assignments.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform maintenance, monitoring, and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire/life safety, and control systems to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
+ Oversee facility services including preventive maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, contracted services, and general maintenance.
+ Maintain HVAC systems and related equipment through cleaning, inspection, calibration, and part replacement to ensure optimal performance.
+ Record equipment readings and make necessary adjustments to maintain proper operation.
+ Adhere to safety protocols for the storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
+ Conduct periodic inventory checks of tools and instruments.
+ Monitor the quality and cost of maintenance work performed by external contractors.
+ Follow all safety procedures and promote good housekeeping practices; identify and recommend solutions for potential hazards.
**Essential Skills**
+ Expertise in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and facility maintenance.
+ Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
+ Ability to perform repair, carpentry, mechanical, preventive maintenance, and hydraulics work.
+ Experience with boiler and building maintenance, lighting, refrigeration, and maintenance engineering.
+ Proficiency in reading schematics and using power tools.
+ Knowledge of HVAC, troubleshooting, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems.
+ Experience with hand tools, painting, maintenance repair, and EPA regulations.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ 5-7 years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
+ Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot commercial or industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
+ EPA 608 Type II Certification.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
+ Preferred qualifications include EPA 608 Universal Certification and completion of two years of trade school in electrical system design, refrigeration, or HVAC.

+ Five years of commercial/naval experience as a first-class Pipe Welder. fillet, and butt welds using the SMAW process. + Fuse inserts and weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper-nickel pipe using the SMAW and GTAW processes.
+ Mirror weld using SMAW and GTAW processes.
+ Work in physically demanding environments, including shipboard settings, sub-assemblies, and staging areas.

Avionics Technician

**Job Title: Avionics Technician - San Antonio, TX** **Responsibilities** + Perform troubleshooting and repairs on avionics systems. + Install and maintain avionics and electrical systems on F/A-18 aircraft. + Conduct modifications and upgrades, including radar package and communication systems.
+ Utilize schematics and technical manuals for installations and repairs.
+ Work on fiber optic installations and cable management.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in avionics troubleshooting and installation.
+ Experience with fiber optic cable installation.
+ Knowledge of avionics systems and schematics.
+ 4-7 years of depot/heavy maintenance experience on aircraft electrical systems, preferably on fighter jets.
+ Experience with F-18 aircraft is highly preferred.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Navy Ratings of AE or AT are highly desirable.
+ Experience with NAV - magic box is highly preferred.
+ Must be eligible for SECRET clearance.
