You will proactively maintain all plant electrical/mechanical systems, equipment electronics, motors, drives, and other power transmission systems. - Perform daily inspection of doors and dock plates, banana rooms, and all other building and support areas. Recognize problems and repairs before breakdown occurs. Independently troubleshoot and repair problems using advanced skills including electronic repair (programmable control and relay logic repair, programming and design).
- Repair rack as required. Repair or replace batteries and chargers as needed. Replace damaged or burned out lighting fixtures. Repair ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems.
- Maintain complete repair order records.

+ Framing: Cut wood to length and use air nail guns to construct walls. Use jigs for efficient wall squaring and attach drywall to studded walls.
+ Floor Department: Frame floors with joists, nail subfloors in place, and insulate flooring.
+ Drywall: Cut and fit drywall around pipes and fixtures, screw drywall to panels, and finish with tape and paste.
+ Cabinet Shop: Assemble and install cabinets in kitchens and bathrooms, cut and install countertops, and complete the installation process.
+ Final Finishing: Finish built units, which may include hanging blinds, installing appliances, and cleaning.
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous construction experience, which could be personal or vocational.
+ Ability to read a tape measure.
+ Experience with hand tools.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Carpentry and construction experience is preferred.
