This role involves working with structured cabling, cable installation, and testing copper cables such as Cat 5 and Cat 6. You will also have the opportunity to work with fiber optic cables. Fiber Technician is responsible for all aspects, of Fiber including but not limited to installing, terminating, testing, and splicing. Structured Cabling will install a work area outlet for floor or wall (terminate CAT 3 & CAT 5 jacks. Mount face plates and surface mount boxes correctly.
