The Project Manager acts as a liaison between clients, users, and other project participants including consultants, contractors, vendors, and external agencies. **Responsibilities** + Assess and document project scope, objectives, and requirements, considering user needs, safety standards, and aesthetic considerations. + Assist in developing policies, guidelines, and standards and represent the department in committees and professional organizations. + Implement quality control measures to ensure project compliance with hospital and university policies and government regulations. + Maintain regular communication with all project participants to inform them of project status, challenges, and required actions. + Manage the furnishing and equipment selection, purchasing, and installation processes. + Oversee the review and approval process for design work, project budgets, and field changes. + Negotiate contracts and manage the selection process for consultants, contractors, and vendors. + Prepare and maintain accurate project records, files, and cost estimates according to department procedures. + Provide leadership and supervision to assigned consultants. + Ensure accountability for scope, schedule, and budget across multiple projects in varying phases of the life cycle. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of three years of progressively responsible work experience in project management. + Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university. + Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in healthcare or live critical facilities. + Proficient in construction management, budgeting, cost estimation, and scheduling. + Experience with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems and tenant improvements. + Knowledge of CAD systems, project management tools, and regulatory requirements. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + PMP and OSHA-10 certification preferred. + Experience with PM Web and Primavera is preferred. + Certified Facility Manager (CFM) certification is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Upon conversion, employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including commuter benefits. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electromechanical Technician with a focus on mechanical assembly, particularly within avionics systems for drones.
