    The Manufacturing Technician II is responsible for performing equipment and tester assembly tasks, along with regular manufacturing assignments. This role requires a blend of mechanical and electrical skills to support various manufacturing processes. **Responsibilities** + Fill in for or support various hourly positions using general mechanical and electrical skills, as well as specific skills in assembly, painting, washing, welding equipment operations, shipping/receiving, product testing, and storeroom management. + Operate machines and tools such as band saws, plasma cutters, various gas cutting equipment, stick welders, mig welders, magnetic drills, grinders, drill presses, jib and overhead cranes, portable hydraulic circuit testers, amprobes, voltage and OHM meters, strobe lights, and a variety of hand tools. + Utilize equipment including hydraulic hose crimping machines, welding robots, and occasionally micrometers. + Assemble and test manufactured products, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications. + Perform repairs and calibration of products to maintain high standards. + Work in accordance with work orders, bills of material, product engineering designs, schematics (both electrical and hydraulic), and various specifications. + Record test results and as-built features when they deviate from standard. + Collaborate with Engineering on prototype development projects. + Perform other duties as assigned and work overtime as required. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of electrical technician experience. + 2+ years of mechanical technician experience. + 2+ years of blueprint reading. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. + Knowledge in wiring, low voltage, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and three-phase systems. **Why Work Here?** Join a company with a rich history of innovation in the field of Advanced Fluid Conditioning Solutions , backed by 75 years of experience. Key Responsibilities Skid & Panel Assembly Build complete chemical feed skids, water-quality panels, and packaged systems according to drawings and layout prints. Mount pumps, valves, regulators, analyzers, flow cells, strainers, sample coolers, and associated mechanical equipment. Maintain an organized, clean routing of pipe, tubing, and wiring. PVC Piping & Plumbing Cut, chamfer, dry-fit, glue, and assemble PVC pipe and fittings with high precision and neat appearance. Ensure all piping is plumb, level, supported, and consistent with engineering drawings. Install unions, check valves, back-pressure valves, calibration columns, and injection quills on skids. Specialty Plastics & Advanced Piping (Preferred) Experience socket-welding PVDF, PP, or other thermoplastic piping. If not experienced, must be willing to learn PVDF socket welding with in-house training. Mechanical Fabrication Install equipment on aluminum or stainless frames using proper hardware. Drill, tap, cut, and modify components as needed for clean routing. Assemble mechanical layouts to exact spacing and alignment requirements. Quality & Documentation Follow drawings, P&IDs, mechanical layouts, and BOMs. Perform pressure/leak checks as needed. Maintain neat workmanship, labeling, and consistency across builds.
