**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Worker to join our manufacturing facility's Receiving area. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Shipping & Receiving and be comfortable using computer systems similar to ERP, specifically PLEX.
**Responsibilities**
+ Check in all daily incoming shipments for all vendors by comparing actual count to packing slip.
+ Post all incoming packing slips into the computer and follow company procedures for shortages or damaged parts.
+ Process all incoming stock orders within 24 hours and put away all incoming stock in the appropriate bin location as indicated in the computer.
+ Ensure all parts put into stock are properly labeled with a barcode bin label and create bin locations in the computer for any new parts posted into stock.
+ Dispose of any packing material not needed after each shipment is checked in.
+ Pull parts for all orders ensuring part number and quantity pulled match order demand and initial all pick slips.
+ Keep the parts warehouse clean and organized, and follow all corporate safety guidelines and policy.
+ Process and maintain all returns by properly pulling all parts being returned from stock and ensure that parts are in new re-saleable condition.
+ Complete appropriate return paperwork including tracking number and freight cost, and file freight claims for any shortages or damaged parts received within 24 hours of receipt.
+ May be required to drive company vehicle for parts pick-up or delivery needs.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 1 year experience in Shipping & Receiving.
+ Proficiency with computer skills and ERP systems, specifically PLEX.
+ Experience with inventory control, material handling, and order pulling.
+ Strong organizational skills.
+ Ability to handle logistics, packing, and warehouse inventory.
