Micromanagement, too much pressure to make a 90 or above on each and every call, and if you don’t meet that metric, you don’t get a raise.

I’ve never talked to the CEO, but I like my leadership team.

Do fun things to boost morale. Have group Meetings give out gift cards, really anything to help us create a bond

I did online research about the position and what it entailed, came up with questions to ask them As well.

How does your compensation at Aetna compare to the industry average?

I would say my compensation is below average. The ad said anywhere from 18.50 - 33/hour. I’ll be at 18.75 at least another year.

What's the diversity at Aetna like?

Fairly represented.

What brings you the most joy at Aetna?

Having a member tell me I helped them today

Absolutely nothing

Cons of working at Aetna

Abusive and toxic boss, unrealistic productivity expectations, quantity but not quality is prized, immediate boss/lead medical director has made it clear to myself and the other medical directors on the team to only read the nurses’ summaries instead of reading the actual medical records
