Why We Need You: In this role, you will support the high performance design process through analysis of high performance design strategies and concepts, primarily through performance modeling; develop and optimize analytical tools and processes to provide timely, design-relevant insight to internal design teams, partners and clients. What you will be doing: Transport materials, molds, and castings between departments using carts, forklifts, or other equipment. Job Description AECOM is actively seeking candidates interested in a future position as a Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Coordinator in the Great Lakes region. This would be an on-site full-time position at the client's facility. There will be intermittent statewide travel for TIM workshops, committee meetings, industry conferences and nationally for industry conferences; some overnight travel may be required. There may be on-call 24/7 responsibilities for escalated major incident responses. The TIM Coordinator's will focus on the following four core responsibility areas: TIM Program Management Establishing regional stakeholder relationships and incorporating them into a productive TIM Team that will meet routinely and operate under a defined charter (if said TIM Team(s) do not already exist, at which time the TIM Coordinator will actively participate while representing the client) Create a categorized list of topics that are TIM priorities for the client agency and establish specific goals under each that can be accomplished through defined initiatives. Summarize this exercise into a TIM Program Strategic Plan. Participate in statewide conferences and workgroup meeting opportunities as a representative and speaker representing the client's TIM program. Broaden the program's audience and ancillary participant base. Serves as liaison with federal, state, and local agencies in matters concerning the coordination of TIM related plans and services. Serve as a participant or champion in the development of multi-agency collaborated TIM plans in advance of major events (planned and unplanned). Production or delegation of meeting agendas, minutes, studies, and ad-hoc analyses. This should be done in conjunction with the development of a central repository for all TIM program materials as deemed important by the client agency. Develop a TIM program marketing plan to encourage agency participation and quantify value. Incident Response Training (e.g., safety service patrol) Actively collaborate on the incident responder initial training program, keeping it current, innovative, and effective. Participate in train-the-trainer exercises, learning all agency protocols and skills associated with the client's incident response program to facilitate training on an as-needed basis. Routinely audit and edit the incident response program's standard operating procedures in the interest of keeping them current and relevant in the delivery of training modules. Establish a safety program designed specifically for the client's incident response staff that includes content from the agency's safety mandates, OSHA, and best practices from other programs operating under a similar mission. Our Final Inspectors are responsible for inspecting finished metal products to ensure conformance with work orders and customer specifications, under the direct supervision of the Production Supervisor. What you will be doing: Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as part number, number of molds to inspect and the appropriate procedure to follow. Examine work pieces for defects and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws to scrap out the parts. Read blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, or measuring instruments required. Approve finished products by confirming specifications as per the blueprints; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work. Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as certified rulers, calipers, pin gauges, job blocks, micrometers, or CMM. Compare shape, texture, or grade of product or material with the chart, template, or sample to ensure consistency. Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content; and quantities inspected or graded; the type and quantity of defective castings; and total number ready to be shipped by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database. Finish the assigned work in the allotted time and maintain the production levels. Feed the number and types of parts worked on in the ERP system using the routers. Place scrap castings in assigned carts as instructed by the supervisor. Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to Production Supervisor. Report any accident related to person, equipment, material or any other to the Production Supervisor as soon as possible. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) as instructed by the supervisor. Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company's Employee Handbook and adhere to proper code of conduct while in the company property. Perform all work in a safe and efficient manner and comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Ensure work meets quality standards and is performed according to established procedures. Perform other tasks as directed by your supervisor, all other duties as assigned. Basic Math Knowledge is required. Requirements What you will bring to the team: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required. As an Electrical Project Engineer - Buildings in our Madison office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all. Why We Need You: In this position, you will be responsible for engineering design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline. You will also develop innovative and unique engineering solutions to align with project, client and project partner's needs, and leads the discipline team in implementing the solutions. Minimum Qualifications: BSEE/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience) from an ABET accredited program. 10+ years of experience designing power distribution and lighting building systems in technically sophisticated facilities. Professional engineering registration preferred. Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit, AutoCAD). Proficient in computer operation for engineering calculation/selection software. Understanding of applicable design codes and specification requirements. Additional Required Knowledge and Skills: Strong spoken and written communications skills. Excellent organization and time management skills. Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes. Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks. Effective working individually and within team environments.
