The Catawba Care Coalition was formed in 1994 to serve people living with HIV in York, Chester, and Lancaster Counties.
In 2001, Catawba Care Coalition merged with the York County AIDS Task Force, and began medical care services, including primary care and HIV specialty care.
In 2003, Catawba Care Coalition merged with the Catawba AIDS Prevention Network for consolidated prevention, outreach and education services, and also added HIV testing/prevention services.
In October 2007, Affinity Health Group, L.L.C., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vantage Heath Plan, Inc. was formed as a group medical practice.
In 2010, Catawba Care Coalition moved to a new location under the simplified name Catawba Care.
