AGCO is currently seeking an Engineering Team Lead to join our Validation Engineering team in Round Lake, MN. The Engineering Team Lead will participate in the development and implementation of the product test programs. Additionally, they will provide leadership and support to the to ensure testing is performed on time and at the highest quality. The Engineering Team Lead spends equal time hands on with the equipment in the test lab, writing reports and serve as a lead for the satellite lab. This position will mainly focus on validating durability and reliability for components used to build track tractors, sprayers, floater trucks, compact utility equipment, and planters. Your Impact * Test Management & Oversight: You'll oversee all component-level testing in the lab, including the development of durability tests, fixture design, and scheduling lab activities to meet project milestones. * Maintenance & Quality Control: You're responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all lab hardware and software. You will also report on the performance and reliability of new products and contribute to the development of testing concepts and standards. * Technical Leadership & Training: You'll provide technical leadership and training to engineers and technicians and will be responsible for managing 4-7 direct reports. * Collaboration: You'll work with various teams, including design engineers, build technicians, suppliers, and the program team, to create high-quality products. * Project Coordination: You'll evaluate the feasibility of tests and coordinate work efforts to ensure all project requirements are met. Your Experience and Qualifications * Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering is required, with a focus on Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering preferred. * Mandatory Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in one of the following is mandatory: Servo-hydraulic test rigs or On-job Test Engineering or Electrodynamic shaker profiles * Desired Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the following is highly desired: Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) or CREO or other 3D CAD software. Data acquisition and analysis software such as eDaq, LMS Test Lab, LMS SCADAS, and nCode Glyphworks. Working with sensors like Accelerometers and Pressure sensors * Physical Requirements: The ability to lift 50 lbs objects is required. * Additional Requirement: A valid driver's license is a nice-to-have. Your Compensation This position will be within the range of $89K to $95K, based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 10% of compensation.
