The Agency Relations Manager will lead and support the strategy, development and implementation of all agency related initiatives and food distribution efforts for Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin (SHFB) partner agencies to support individuals experiencing food insecurity in their communities. The Agency Relations Manager will work closely with the Director of Partnerships & Programs to ensure agency partnership integrity, consistency, prioritization of equity in all work, and ensuring outstanding customer service.

Qualifications include experience building, leading, managing and training professional staff, related project or program management, and demonstrated experience with data collection, relationship building, reporting and program evaluation. Experience working with community-based nonprofit organizations, knowledge of and experience with private and public food assistance resources or other food distribution systems, lived experience with the impacts of systemic racism or marginalization, and a Bachelor's Degree in a related field are preferred.

To perform this job successfully, the individual should have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM's, and have the ability to quickly learn and effectively use internal software programs.

Salary Range: $58,700 - $70,400 based on experience.

Position Purpose: The Regional Agency Manager (Account Executive II) supports Account Executives and Account Management Teams in assigned territories for small group, mid-market, and large group segments. This position assists with new business, renewal presentations and broker service issues pertaining to ancillary products.
• Meets or exceeds assigned annual sales goals and penetration of the book of business.

•Participates in product training with Sales Management for Health Plan's commercial sales segments.

•Assists with supporting Health Plan's General Agents and brokers in assigned territory.

•Develops best practices and work to implement those based on local market conditions.

•Reviews and responds to RFP's, manages internal strategy and participates in major sales and renewal presentations.

•Maintains strong familiarity with competition, market environments, healthcare economics, etc.

•Maintains competitive analysis information and submits to sales management quarterly.

•Builds relationships with Health Plan sales and account management teams to increase new sales and penetrate Health Plan's book of business.

•Travels to customer, finalist and presale meetings, and other cross-sale related activities.

•Submits Account Executive reports and ad hoc reports upon request and in a timely manner.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in industry. Three years sales and industry experience preferably in Managed Care

License/Certification: Active, valid and unrestricted State Life, Health & Disability license.

For Medicare/Commercial Solutions: Must have a valid driver's license. Travel up to 80%

For Fidelis Care plan only: The Account Executive II supports membership growth and retention in assigned territories by working with appointed brokers.

For Health Net of California only: must obtain State Life, Health & Disability license within 90 days of hire.
