Chris also holds Non-executive Director positions with Barratt Developments plc and the Royal Navy. Prior to his appointment as CEO in January 2015, Chris was Managing Director, International Downstream at Centrica plc, where he was the Executive Director responsible for the Group’s largest division. In this role, Chris was operationally responsible for both British Gas in the UK and Direct Energy in the USA. He joined Centrica in 2001 after a successful career in the telecoms industry, working for both Cable & Wireless and One.Tel. Before that, Chris served in the Royal Artillery. He has a BSc in Applied Science, as well as an MBA and PhD from Imperial College London.

Heath is an experienced CFO and proven leader with experience in the engineering, leisure, transportation and industrial sectors. He has 28 years of experience within various finance, corporate finance, business performance, financial and strategic planning roles. He has extensive international experience in both M&A and corporate development activities.

Prior to his appointment at Aggreko, Heath was Group Finance Director for eight years at WS Atkins plc where, following the acquisition of WS Atkins by SNCLavalin, he was most recently appointed President, with responsibility for its global engineering, design, project and programme management business. Before that, Heath worked at British Airways plc within corporate strategy, business planning and finance. Heath is a chartered accountant, having trained at PwC, with a MA in Mathematics from Cambridge University.

I am a Chief Engineer with over 20 years of experience providing leadership of innovation and strategic product development to drive business growth for leading OEMs. I adopt and implement best practices and systems to lead major transformations which result in considerable improvements in product efficiency and reliability, significant maintenance cost reductions and achievement of the market leader status in the mechanical / electrical sector.

I have a broad knowledge of manufacturing processes and viability barriers, which allows me to select the state-of-the-art suppliers and processes for optimum manufacturing routes to maximise the potential capability of designs.

I am recognised as a product specialist and systems development expert and have achieved 7 patents for innovative designs related to product and transmission systems that improved vehicle speed, smooth gear change and anti-slip vehicle systems. I am adept at using computer-aided engineering tools to effectively model and simulate product designs and thereby reduce risk in design processes and accelerate development timescales.

I use my service engineering expertise to effectively identify root causes of product failures and apply that knowledge backwards to the design and pre-development processes to make genuine improvements and mitigate risks of failures in the field.

I take a strategic view of the market analysis and develop products to suit market segments. I develop trusted business relationships and work closely with customers on product designs to understand their requirements and ensure delivery of products that meet their needs.
