The Scrum Master is responsible for fostering an environment that embraces agility, adheres to Agile values, and supports high-performing cross-functional teams. As a servant leader, you will coach employees, teams, and stakeholders in modern product development practices, acting as a facilitator, trainer, mentor, and coach at the team, organizational, and enterprise levels.
You will champion the values and principles of the Agile Manifesto, support continuous improvement, and promote a culture of learning. Depending on business needs and personal expertise, you may perform in various Agile leadership capacities, such as Scrum Master, Team Coach, or Enterprise Coach. You measure progress using learning milestones, support the five elements of a learning organization, and uphold the five Scrum values: focus, courage, openness, commitment, and respect.
Essential Functions
Promote and implement frameworks, methods, and techniques that foster agility.
Ensure alignment with the values and twelve principles of the Agile Manifesto.
Coach employees, teams, and stakeholders on modern product development practices.
Serve as facilitator, trainer, coach, and mentor spanning team to enterprise levels.
Adapt to multiple leadership roles as needed (Scrum Master, Team Coach, Enterprise Coach).
Measure progress and improvement using learning milestones.
Support personal mastery, mental models, shared vision, team learning, and systems thinking.
Demonstrate and reinforce the five Scrum values: focus, courage, openness, commitment, and respect.
Job Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Product and IT environments.
2+ years in an Agile role such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Coach.
1+ years applying multiple Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, LeSS).
1+ years supporting large-scale, multi-team Agile initiatives.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent).
Experience leveraging AI tools within the software development lifecycle to enhance quality and efficiency.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and conflict resolution capabilities.
Preferences:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
U.S. citizenship strongly preferred.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
Experience developing and delivering curriculum or training content.
Experience shaping DevOps practices and culture.
Advanced or scaled Scrum certifications.
Healthcare industry experience.
Working knowledge of related frameworks, methodologies, and techniques used to deliver organizational value.
Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and modern development approaches.
Participation or engagement in Agile industry communities.

**Job Description:**
The SAFe Scrum Master coordinates an agile development team, ensures all activities use the principles of the Scrum Framework. The SAFe Scrum Master work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The SAFe Scrum Master leads teams through work actions that can be completed within timeboxed iterations called sprints and tracks progress through 5-minute stand-up meetings. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree
+ 8+ years of experience working in an Agile Scrum environment or Agile methodologies
+ 5 years of experience with the SDLC
+ 5+ years of experience in contributing to a large, matrixed organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
