Prior to joining agilon health, Veeral served in several senior executive roles at Vantage Oncology, a national leader in community oncology and value-based cancer care. As President of Operations, Veeral was responsible for the organization’s field operations and led key functions including managed care, marketing, and strategy. He helped incubate and served as Chief Operating Officer of the Vantage Cancer Care Network, an innovative model for managing cancer populations. Veeral has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

Dr. Kornitzer joins agilon health with broad clinical and operational experience leading a diverse range of medical enterprises, including community-based practices, ACOs, IPAs, and integrated ambulatory networks. He served as Chief Medical Officer of the Mount Sinai Health Network for six years, where Dr. Kornitzer oversaw one of the premier academic delivery networks in the country as the system developed robust population health tools, quality programs, care coordination resources, and invested in practice transformation.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Kornitzer had operational and strategic positions at leading community-based healthcare organizations focused on quality and value, including Balance ACO and House Calls Medical Group. In addition to his clinical and operational roles, Dr. Kornitzer previously served as a strategic consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he worked with U.S and foreign governments, hospital systems, and pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Kornitzer earned his medical degree with AOA honors from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed his residency at Harvard Medical School/ Massachusetts General Hospital.

Tim joined as Chief Financial Officer in January 2021. Previously, he has served as the CFO PepsiCo Americas Foods, most recently as the CFO Blue Apron, and brings more than 30 years of experience in scaling businesses and delivering consistent performance. At PepsiCo, Inc., Tim held a variety of finance leadership roles, including heading Financial Planning and Analysis, Supply Chain Finance, PepsiCo’s Global Transformation Group, and serving as the CFO of Pepsi-Cola North America and ultimately PepsiCo Americas Foods, a division of PepsiCo with approximately $23 billion in revenue at the time. Mr. Bensley served as the CFO at Blue Apron, a $500 million public e-commerce company. Mr. Bensley received a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Upon graduating, he spent five years as an Officer in the U.S. Army, where he progressed to Captain and served as a Company Commander.

Benjamin Shaker is a Chief Markets Officer at AGILON HEALTH INC. and President, Central Region at AGILON HEALTH INC. and is based in Columbus Ohio Metropolitan Area. He has worked as Director, Clinical Integration at Orlando Health; Senior Consultant at EY; and Director at Navvis (healthcare). Benjamin studied at Youngstown State University between 2001 and 2005 and OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY between 2005 and 2007.
