Role description:
Arcadis is looking for a Stormwater Transportation Engineer to join our growing design group in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.
In this position, you will work under the direction of the Senior Stormwater Engineer and will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that will challenge you and provide growth in your career!

Role accountabilities:
As a Stormwater Transportation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design numerous drainage and design- build projects including collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways, interstates, and bridge replacements across the southeast. This may include of helping roadway drainage design including bridge hydraulic studies, culvert design, closed drainage system design, post-construction water quality structures design, and erosion and sedimentation control.
Using your experience with software platforms such as Bentley's StormCAD, CulvertMaster, FlowMaster, HEC-RAS, HY8, ICPR and SWMM you will assist with the design and preparation of construction plans.
The ideal candidate will take initiative to take on new projects/challenges regularly and use their organizational skills to balance multiple assignments/activities to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or another closely related field
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with drainage design
Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Experience with software platforms such as Bentley's StormCAD, CulvertMaster, FlowMaster, and Pond Pack, HEC-RAS, HEC-MS, HY8, ICPR, and/or SWMM

Key responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML models and data workflows using AWS-native services and infrastructure-as-code.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or ML engineering with at least 4+ years focused on MLOps or ML platform work.
Strong proficiency with Python and experience integrating ML libraries or frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) into production workflows.
