AGM is seeking a dynamic Sales Support Specialist/Receptionist to join our team and be one of the welcoming faces and voices of our company! In this position, you will be working to support a cohesive team of Inside Sales Customer Service Representatives, as well as conducting frequent front-desk/reception related tasks. Key Responsibilities: First Point of Contact: Be a friendly voice answering AGM's multi-line phone system, providing a warm greeting, and directing calls to the appropriate recipient following company procedures. As a receptionist, you will direct calls to our Inside Sales representatives, Engineers, Management, Human Resources, Marketing department, and others! Visitor Engagement: Welcome and assist all visitors, ensuring they are signed in and out of AGM premises while adhering to proper badge procedures. Offer refreshments to enhance the guest experience. Please note that employees in this role are generally only working front-desk reception on an as-needed basis, so reception may only make up about 15% of the overall time in this position, while Sales-related tasks may make up 85% of the employee's time. Information Hub: Provide general information about AGM and our family of brands to the public, including to customers and vendors. Maintain a good working relationship with AGM's HR department to direct prospective job applicants to our Recruiter. Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor in all interactions. Administrative Support: Utilize your excellent computer skills to efficiently manage AGM's software programs and hardware components. Perform tasks such as scanning, copying, and filing Sales Department documents. Customer Interaction: Handle customer inquiries, check order and quote status, and assist Account Representatives and Inside Sales Representatives with basic orders and quotes. Follow AGM's processes for expediting orders and providing exceptional customer service. Quality Management: Follow AGM's Quality Management System processes and procedures to ensure consistency and high standards in all activities.
