Salesperson Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agriculture Sales professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling agricultural products and services to farmers and other agricultural businesses.. Duties & Responsibilities Greet customer on sales floor and determines make, type and quality of merchandise desired. Offer directions to other locations in the store May provide assistance with merchandise as needed to the register and/or to a customer's vehicle. Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift to push, lift, stack, tier or move and/or load products, equipment or material. Research items and product information in sales catalog for customers, and makes phone calls to the purchasing department to secure items for customers. Display merchandise, suggests selections that meet customer's needs, and emphasizes selling points of article such as quality and utility. Prepare sales ticket, writes up and follow through on special orders. Wrap or bag merchandise for customer. Take inventory out of overstock as needed to fills in gaps in merchandise during store hours and to maintain adequate inventory levels in their department. May train and assist new employees in department. Pass along information for new stock items to the managers. Informs managers of any quality control problems with stock. Perform price changes on items in the department. Maintain work area that is neat, clean and attractive to all customers. Ensure all items are properly labeled. This position reports directly to the store manager however they will receive day to day assignments from their sales lead, assistant store manager, training coordinator, or visiting upper management. Any and all other duties assigned by management Qualifications & Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required Agricultural equipment, parts and supplies knowledge either by educational program or practical use preferred. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Additional Notes We have multiple sales departments throughout our retail store (Ag, Lawn and Garden, Trailer Accessories, Sporting Goods etc.). You may be assigned to one or asked to rotate through multiple departments. You will be trained in the area(s) you will work. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. Cashier Your job as cashier will be a blend of hospitality and operations. Aside from running a cash register and processing payments, you'll potentially be responsible for making sure the front of the store is neat and orderly and answering the phone. Inventory Clerk (Part Time) Duties & Responsibilities Performs overstock & shelf location audits & overstock replenishment Reviews pricing and corrects any price changes or miss labeled merchandise on the sales floor. Reviews & corrects daily negative overrides Corrects daily inventory based on reports from staff Applies DD barcodes to items found on shelves with incorrect UPC or DD barcode info Monitors daily reports of discontinued items that inventories go to zero & adjusts pertaining shelf product or tag & system Audits yard for weathered/missing bar codes & replaces bar codes as needed Reviews loading tickets daily to confirm inventory is correct, reporting results to manager Coordinates/organizes physical inventory preparations Maintains discontinued items locations through daily reports Collects deactivated tags from cashier stations and returns them to S/R for re-use on a daily basis Coordinates any additional item or cycle counting of top performing items as assigned by management Any and all other duties assigned by management Qualifications & Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred 1-2 years of previous retail or inventory experience Strong attention to detail Proficient it math - add, subtract, divide Proficient with computers Agricultural background either through schooling or personal experience a plus due to our type of inventory Additional Notes This position reports directly to the store manager but will receive instruction from leads, training coordinator, and other store management. The environment of this position is a retail warehouse, there will be dust and dirt due to the products we sell .

Yard Associate Make sure inventory is organized and shoppable on the yard, loads customer purchases into their vehicles, and assist in the shop with light assembly and maintenance. Duties & Responsibilities Provide high level of customer service by reviewing the purchase ticket and loading purchased merchandise into the customers' vehicle. Obtain proper documents from customer for record keeping. Use forklift, pallet jack, or any other available approved device to maneuver and load customer vehicles. Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Route items to appropriate departments. Maintain excellent housekeeping practices in order to promote a safe and clean working environment Weigh materials or products and record weight on tags, labels, or production schedules. Lubricate truck, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank, or replaces liquefied gas tank. Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner Rotate yard stock and safely move materials using a forklift Compare information on requisitions, invoices, and shipping notices to material received or issued to verify accuracy of order. Comply and maintain inventory of material received, stocked, and issued. Inspect, and either accept or reject material received. Inspect all equipment used daily for issues and report any findings to the Yard Lead or store management. Assemble products partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor Assemble parts according to knowledge of units being assembled or following instructions. Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners. Operate drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation. Paint merchandise if needed. Any and all other duties assigned by management Qualifications & Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required 6+ months of previous sales experience Previous experience in retail or agricultural background a plus Basic assembly or mechanical skills preferred Previous forklift experience strongly preferred or willingness to get certified within first 90 days Strong attention to detail and organization.
