Reporting to a senior Partner, AHA is seeking a candidate who will prepare engineering design concepts for HVAC building systems for our clients. Project types include Corporate, Academic, Science & Technology, Industrial, Mission Critical, Civic & Entertainment, Healthcare, Historic Preservation & Adaptive Reuse and Mixed Use.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Leadership & Management : Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 5-7 HVAC engineers, fostering professional growth and ensuring successful project delivery.
Project Oversight : Act as Department Director, providing technical oversight, assisting in the developing design concepts for new HVAC systems and analyzing the performance of existing systems.
Design & Engineering : Prepare engineering studies, calculations, and system layouts, including ductwork, piping, equipment sizing. Prepare specifications, controls diagrams and sequences of operation.
Technical Expertise : Provide quality control reviews of team projects and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and company design standards while promoting continuous improvement.
Client Engagement : Attend client meetings, present design concepts, and ensure client satisfaction.
Site Involvement : Conduct site visits as required to oversee project implementation and resolve issues.
Position Qualifications (Required)
PE license
Bachelor's degree (BSME or BSMET) or equivalent technical training/certification.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering at an MEP firm.
Strong knowledge of mechanical system design, including hydronic systems and controls.
Solid understanding of building codes and standards (ICC, NFPA, ASHRAE, etc.).
Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
In-office presence required on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (hybrid work schedule).
Project management experience.
Well-rounded experience across a variety of different project types and market sectors.
Work on-site in Alpharetta, GA with hybrid schedule
Position Qualifications (Preferred)
Proven track record of managing teams and mentoring engineers.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite.

The Senior Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the development and production of the RFP/RFQ bids and plays an instrumental role in the administration of all marketing efforts under the supervision of our Marketing Manager.

Proposal Management
* Lead the development, coordination, and production of high-quality proposals, qualifications packages, and presentation materials in response to RFPs/RFQs.

* Collaborate with technical staff, project managers, and leadership to craft clear, compelling narratives and differentiators.

Event Planning & Coordination
* Plan, coordinate, and execute company participation in trade shows, conferences, client events, and our 'Lunch & Learn' program.
* Manage event logistics, including registration, sponsorships, booth materials, signage, and promotional collateral alongside the Graphics & Communication Coordinator.
* Work closely with Business Development leaders to align event strategy with market goals and client relationship priorities.
* Track event budgets, vendor contracts, and post-event follow-up activities.
* Capture leads and assist with event ROI tracking and reporting.
Marketing & Brand Support
* Support the development of marketing collateral, project sheets, digital content, and internal communications alongside the Graphics & Communication Coordinator.
* Coordinate photographs and other creative resources to support proposals and events.
Collaboration & Leadership
* Mentor junior marketing staff and support professional development within the marketing team.
* Serve as a liaison between marketing, technical, and business development teams to ensure alignment of messaging and client strategy.
* Proactively identify process improvements to enhance proposal and event workflows.
Desired Knowledge and Experience:
* Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry (AEC) or a closely related field and working knowledge of AEC industry practices, terminology, and procurement processes (public and private sector) are required.
* Advanced knowledge of proposal management processes is required, including coordination of multi-discipline teams and development of compliant, compelling submittals (sub-consultant experience a plus).
* Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator for producing high-quality, brand-consistent marketing materials.
* Advanced project and event management expertise, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver under tight deadlines.
* Familiarity with CRM and marketing database systems, preferably Deltek Vantagepoint, for tracking pursuits, contacts, and project data.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
May serve as prime contact of firm with clients, consultants, and public agencies. Participate in project design Prepare and conduct client interviews. Consolidate information into a Program Document outlining square footage and personnel requirements.
Initiate preparation of Equipment List gathering electrical, plumbing, and special HVAC requirements from client.
Has knowledge in preparing Schematics, to include Block & Stacking Plans.
Has knowledge in Space Planning.
Has knowledge in preparing complete set of Construction Documents.

Assists senior staff with construction site visits to review, monitor, and report progress and perform other construction administration duties, such as shop drawings review, attend construction site meetings, review RFI's, prepare ASI's, PR's, prepare status reports, per the contract documents.
Review of outgoing submittal. Responsible for job specific standards, practices, and quality, as defined in BRPH System Manuals.

Assist senior staff in the development and coordination of a furniture bid package (when requested).
Maintain and monitor project profitability.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. The Sr. Electrical Engineer will lead the design of electrical systems-including power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, emergency power, UPS, and renewable energy systems-from concept through construction. Job Responsibilities:
Read and interpret construction drawings, technical drawings, schematics, and computer generated reports.

Attend project and client meetings, collaborating with owners, architects, and developers.

About the Role:
The Engineer (HVAC) will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal environmental comfort and energy efficiency within commercial and business service facilities. Job Summary
This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality electrical engineering design for a diverse portfolio of building projects. As a key contributor on the electrical team, you will support senior engineers, apply technical skills to real-world design challenges, and help ensure that projects are safe, efficient, and code-compliant. Key Responsibilities
Prepare electrical engineering designs-including power distribution, lighting, lightning protection, and grounding/bonding systems-using Revit for new systems and analyzing performance of existing systems.
Perform engineering calculations and studies (short circuit, breaker coordination, arc flash, and load analysis) using SKM Power Tools to ensure safe and reliable system performance.
Verify designs comply with applicable building codes, updating work as required based on evolving standards and project requirements.
Conduct field visits to document existing conditions and support accurate design solutions.
Coordinate with clients, architects, and interdisciplinary team members to resolve design issues and maintain smooth project communication.
Research, evaluate, and recommend equipment with guidance from senior engineers, leveraging manufacturer resources and technical data.
Contribute to the development and consistent application of company design and production standards.
Balance multiple projects simultaneously, delivering accurate work while meeting deadlines.
Follow technical instructions and apply engineering judgment to support project execution and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical training/certification; OR Associate's degree with at least one year of experience at an MEP firm
Minimum of one year of experience in an engineering environment or related technical field.
Fundamental knowledge of electrical system design and electrical engineering concepts.
Understanding of applicable codes and ability to read blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel locally as required.
