Medications Aide - Join Our Caring Team!
Job Type: Part-Time and Full-Time Positions available Wages: From $19 per hour
Shift: Various shifts available
Are you passionate about helping others and making a real difference every day? We're looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Medications Aide to join our team and support our residents with their daily medication needs and care tasks in a safe, respectful, and caring environment. You work with other care staff in assisting residents with daily activities, monitoring their health, and fostering a nurturing environment that promotes independence and well-being.
What You'll Do:
Help residents by safely administering prescribed medications and treatments.
Keep accurate records and report any changes or concerns to our Wellness team.
Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and ensure supplies are stocked.
Provide daily support to promote residents' independence while respecting their choices and privacy.
Be a friendly, calming presence for residents and their families.
What We're Looking For:
Someone who's reliable, respectful, and ready to be a team player.
Completion of a state-approved Medication training program.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Current CPR/First Aid certification.
Previous experience as a Med Aide or in direct care is a plus!
Physical Requirements:
Able to move around frequently and assist residents as needed.
Comfortable lifting, bending, and helping with evacuations if necessary.
Emotionally steady and able to handle challenging situations with grace.
