Key Responsibilities: Assist during surgical procedures, including All-on-X cases and IV sedation. Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment, including sterilization of instruments. Ensure patients are comfortable and informed before, during, and after procedures. Take and process X-rays, including CBCT scans. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficiency and quality care. Train and mentor junior assistants to maintain a high standard of clinical support. Qualifications: Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Texas (required). Experience assisting with IV sedation and All-on-X (AOX) procedures. Current X-ray certification. Knowledge of dental and surgical terminology. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a sterile environment. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Proficiency in using dental software (experience with Open Dental preferred). Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: ACLS or BLS certification.
