REQUIREMENTS

Certification of good health signed by a licensed physician; at least a high school diploma; evidence of the use of correct grammar and good intellectual ability; a pleasant attitude with the ability to adjust to the varied personalities of those with whom he/she works; ability to work with children; ability to work with office machines and produce a reasonable accurate and readable product; ability to follow specific instructions and the ability to meet whatever alterations to the above qualifications as the Board finds appropriate and acceptable.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Teachers and assistants shall discuss work to be done by the assistant. Work may be done individually or under the direction of the teacher, as agreed upon by the teacher and the assistant.
Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills.
Checks notebooks, corrects papers and supervises testing and make-up work as assigned by the teacher.
Serves as a source of information and help to any substitute teacher assigned in the absence of the regular teacher.
Types and duplicates teaching materials.
Prepares flash cards or other teaching devices including laminating items.
Keeps bulletin board and other classroom learning displays up to date.
Performs other clerical work specified by the principal.
Any other appropriate activities assigned by the principal including the catherization of students.
Confidentiality shall be maintained regarding all student records or other information relating to students or staff.
All work assigned by the teacher should include specific instructions.
All work should be done under the direction of the teacher.
Teachers' assistants shall not be responsible for the developing of lesson plans or the direct teaching of a class.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Term contract with specified beginning and ending dates as indicated in letter of employment. Hours are as designated by superintendent.
EVALUATION:
Evaluation of the performance of this job will be based on a combination of self evaluation and supervisor's evaluation according to the procedures developed for all district personnel

Be an active force in therapy sessionsassist our therapists in guiding children through fun, play-based activities that build fine motor skills, coordination, strength, and independence.
Help kids conquer new milestonessupport therapy exercises, sensory activities, and daily living skills like dressing, feeding, and grooming with encouragement and enthusiasm.
Turn therapy into an adventureset up and break down swings, obstacle courses, sensory bins, therapy tools, and play spaces, making sure sessions are engaging and dynamic.
Be the behind-the-scenes herokeep therapy rooms organized, sanitized, and stocked with everything therapists need to deliver the best care possible.
Make every family feel at homegreet patients and parents at the front desk, check them in, and ensure they feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
Keep our clinic running smoothlyassist with scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations to keep therapy services flowing seamlessly.
Be the voice of reassuranceanswer calls, help parents with questions, and provide updates that make them feel supported and informed.
Stay ahead of the gamedocument observations, track progress, and communicate with therapists so that every child gets the care they need.

What You'll Do:
As a Direct Service Provider, you'll play a key role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of those we serve. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence wherever possible.
- Providing compassionate and respectful care tailored to each individual's unique needs.
- Supporting clients with mobility, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and other essential tasks.
- Monitoring and documenting client progress to ensure their goals are being met.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- At least 1 year of experience in a caregiving, direct service, or similar role.
- A caring and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work 12-hour shifts while maintaining a high level of energy and focus.
