First Presbyterian Day School (FPD) is a 3K-12th grade Christ centered, college preparatory independent school located in Macon, Georgia which exists to educate and equip children to change the world for God's glory.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This employee will be responsible for helping with activities, games, crafts, etc. within the program while working with the assigned grade levels. Employee will help to ensure the safety and well-being of each child while creating a fun and interactive environment that allows children to grow and develop into the person that God has created them to be through FPD enrichment programs.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversee a group of children
Keep on task with the daily schedule
Lead activities in line with the theme for the day/week
Handle minor discipline issues
Interact with the children to create a fun environment
Handle paperwork when/ if necessary
Help with check in and check out of daily attendance
Assist with dismissal and cleanup

Provide consultation and support to referral resources, mentors, family members, and others to help support clients in their recovery.
Model and support health and wellness activities and healthy coping skills for clients.
Maintain quality, up-to-date clinical records. including case notes, treatment plan reviews, discharge planning, and Outcomes Survey; enter necessary information into River Edge's electronic medical records (EMR) system.
Adhere to all federal, state, and regulatory ethical/legal guidelines as an addiction professional
Work with all areas of Addictive Disease including Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).
Other assigned duties as requested.
Qualifications: Required Certification or Licensure:
CARES certification, CPS-AD with at least two years' experience in a recovery-oriented system of care or social services related position.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university PREFERRED

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
Maintain proper storage, handling, and accountability of medications.
Provide emotional support and establish positive relationships with residents and their families.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Assist nursing staff with other duties as assigned to ensure quality resident care.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide training program.
Current CMA certification and in good standing with the state registry.
Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare setting preferred.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Compassionate, patient, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist residents with mobility.
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
Must pass a background check, physical exam, and drug screening as required.
