Position Type: Non-exempt, full-time or part-time, hourly role.
Scope of Role:
Responsible for providing direct support within a single program or unit within a program, typically supporting 4 - 6 individuals in residential settings, or up to 10 individuals in periodic programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver support per individual service/program plans, including socialization, health maintenance, medication administration, skill/behavioral development.
Assist with daily activities: Personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community integration, shopping, citizenship, and other activities of daily living.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.
Services and Supports:
Direct Support: Provides direct support or assistance in accordance with individual service or program plans; assists with socialization and behavioral development, personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community orientation, shopping, financial management, citizenship, and other activities of daily living.
Records: Accurately documents progress and activity; reviews records and logs to stay abreast of changes in service plans; maintains confidentiality.
Management of Individuals' Assets: Makes cost-effective and appropriate purchases within the budget of the individual served and according to their choice / preference
Relationships: Maintains healthy and professional relationships with individuals, friends, families, guardians and case managers; greets family members and other visitors; implements Sevita Customer Service Standards.
Reporting: Reports any instance of alleged abuse or neglect according to internal and external standards; reports medical, behavioral and other incidents in accordance with Sevita policy and external requirements.
Rights: Maintains confidentiality, respects the rights of persons being served, according to applicable the bill of rights; practices universal precautions; assists individuals in exercising their rights.
Health Care:
Appointments: As needed, may accompany individuals to medical appointments; relays orders and information to and from medical providers as required.
Medications: If assigned, accurately administers or supports self-administration of medication and documents delivery of medications and treatments; promptly reports administration errors; maintains appropriate security of controlled medications and other medications and supplies.
General Health Care: Monitors individual's health; documents health concerns; communicates with nurse or supervisor as appropriate; calls 911 in the event of emergency; follows individual health care directives.
Medical Supplies and Equipment: Correctly follows procedures in utilizing medical equipment; reports malfunction or disrepair.
Meal Preparation: Prepares or supports individuals to prepare food in accordance with planned menus and individual choice; knows special diets and prepares individual meals accordingly; monitors mealtime and correctly implements any dining plans.
Employment Responsibilities:
Training: Attends orientation and on-going training as directed; participates in monthly staff meetings.
Employee Scheduling: Works scheduled hours; arrives for work on time; stays on shift until replacement arrives; notifies supervisor in advance when unable to work as scheduled or as soon as possible after the designated start time; may fill in for other shifts where required without causing unapproved overtime, or in the event of emergency.
Teamwork: Works together with others, values others contributions; is courteous; communicates openly; listens; and shows respect to others.
Workplace Safety: Every employee plays a role in developing and maintaining a safe workplace; complies with all established safety policies, procedures, and rules; reports unsafe hazards to their supervisor and participates in safety related training or activities.
Maintenance:
Vehicles: May transport individuals into the community; drives safely and according to local laws; ensures proper use of safety equipment including seat belts, lifts and wheelchair ties; reports accidents to appropriate authorities immediately; reports accidents and safety concerns immediately to supervisor or maintenance personnel.
Housekeeping: Performs daily and seasonal housekeeping as directed; maintains neat, clean and safe environment; reports hazards or safety concerns.
Maintenance and Repair: Monitors environmental safety and may make minor repairs, change light bulbs, etc.; may perform yard maintenance including keeping walkways safe and snow removal; reports equipment or facilities requiring repairs to supervisor or maintenance personnel as required.
Safety: Checks water temperature as required when assisting with bathing; participates in safety drills and protects persons being served in the event of emergency.
Other:
Performs other duties and activities as required.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required for the Job

If an employee is determined to have lost their driving privileges by failing the company MVR driving record requirements per company policy, the employee will be required to sign a Non-Driver form and restricted from driving on behalf of the company until their MVR report satisfies the company requirements for a good driving record.

Job Summary
The Recovery Coach leads and supervises clients in the long-term/IOL program, providing guidance and
oversight of activities during the work shift.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty

 Lead and supervise clients in the program on the living and programming floor(s), and during all
duties and activities during the work shift.
 Assist in performing client intake and discharges.
 Supervise and ensure safe self-administration of all prescription medications, non-prescription
medications and vitamins to clients.
 Drive clients to and from appointments and client outings.
 Administer and supervise UA testing and BA testing.
 Care for clients that are too sick to attend programming, including checking on clients hourly,
taking vitals (upon nurse directive), self-administering medication/vitamins, and bringing them
meals, etc.
 Develop healthy relationships with clients in the program, maintaining appropriate boundaries,
and being a role model and mentor.
 Be compassionate and respectful towards clients, at the same time being firm and direct,
pointing them toward their personal goals.
 Provide spiritual care to program clients. This may involve praying with clients, leading
devotions, and/or assisting with memorization of bible passages, all upon client's request.
 Assist clients in difficult or emotional situations or circumstances that may arise.
 Discuss behavior and/or attitudes that are interfering with clients or others programming, as
needed. This could result in the coach using a consequence management system.
 Model and enforce all program rules in such a way that teach the clients according to the
culture of honor and program guidelines.
 Take attendance and ensure the clients are accounted for and in the correct locations.
 Maintain the data entry for the daily facility log and shift report, ensuring these are kept up to
date.
 Maintain regular building security checks and record the security checks in the facility log (more
specific to overnight staff).
 Monitor evening lights out, and conduct morning wakeups to include cleanup, breakfast, and
morning devotions (more specifically to overnight staff).
 Complete room and person searches to ensure clients are in compliance with program
guidelines and document any non-compliant findings.
 Oversee client visitation with family members and people from the community.
Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications):
 High school diploma or (GED) required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 Must be able to meet at least one of the following requirements:
o a course of study in a health or human services related field leading to a bachelor of
arts, bachelor of science, or associate's degree; or
o one year of experience with vulnerable adults; or
o experience as a certified peer specialist according to MN Statutes Sec. 256B.0615.
 Must be comfortable working with people with life-controlling challenges, including mental
health and addiction.
 The ability to live and work by MnTC's culture of honor & core values - practicing compassion,
honor, respect, integrity, servanthood, and trust.
 The ability to live and work by the Recovery Coach Code of Honor.
 Ability to manage difficult or emotional client situations and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities in our Childcare Program:
Implement FrogStreet curriculum suitable for specific age groups of children
Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, or colors, do crafts, etc.)
Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe
Track childrens progress and report to parents
Communicate with parents regularly to understand the childrens background and psyche
Collaborate with other educators
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

In this supportive School Aide position, your responsibilities will include preparing learning tools, supervising students during activities and transitions, and assisting the teacher in meeting the needs of all learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed staff in the classroom by helping implement academic adaptations and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Work with students individually or in small groups to support their self-care and social/behavioral needs.
- Maintain a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to learning.
- Provide timely support for students in crisis situations.
- Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Must-Have Qualifications
Education:
- 60 college credits or higher, OR one of the following:
- A passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment (65% or higher on the Instructional Support test and 70% or higher on the Knowledge and Application test)
- A passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment (combined score of 460 or above)
Language & Authorization:
- Professional proficiency in English.
- U.S. Work Authorization (Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance).
Experience:
- Prior experience working with children in a structured setting is an asset.
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable being on your feet and moving around the classroom throughout the day
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs and safely assist students when needed (kneeling, bending, quick response)
- Additional physical requirements may be requested during your application process
Preferred Qualifications
- ParaPro Certification (upskilling options provided on a case-by-case basis for candidates without the standard educational background)
- Behavioral Technician or PCA experience working with children is an asset.
- Past work experience in a school setting with children with special needs is an asset.
Salary
Pay: $18 - $21 per hour, paid weekly. (for low to medium sped support)*
Pay: $22 - $23 per hour, paid weekly. (for high sped support - prior experience required)*
Schedule: Monday to Friday, within hours of 7:30 am - 3:00/4:30 pm (no weekend work).

Assist the Activity Director in the planning, development, and implementation of activities which enrich the lives of the residents.
Proactively encourage and support residents' rights.
Develop and lead small, medium, and large group activities.
Work with residents who are low functioning.
Contribute to residents' care planning: assessments, care plan goals and approaches, and progress notes.
Assist with documentation: daily attendance records, precautions list, one-to-one records, Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the activity department and other departments of the facility. Cooperate with other departments in meeting the needs of the residents.
Conduct one-to-one programs.
Work with volunteers - assist in work direction of volunteers as needed.
Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies prior to each activity, and clean up after each activity.
Transport residents to and from activities as needed.
Assist with development of the monthly calendar including providing creative input, ideas, and suggestions for programs and volunteer recruitment.
Assist with field trips and outings.
Maintain safe activity environment by using appropriate risk management, preventive maintenance, cleaning, and storage.
Attend staff in-services/meetings and educational seminars as requested.
Qualifications
