At NorthBay Health, the Nurse Practitioner provides routine direct care to clinic patients. This includes but is not limited to recheck and appointments. Performs physical examinations; performs or orders diagnostic tests; performs procedures and treatments; establishes diagnosis; prescribes medications; instructs patients and family members about medical conditions and treatment. Provides continuity for patients with assigned physician practices. Education: Master's required. Graduate of an accredited nursing program including a Nurse Practitioner Program. This position must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide for the safety and well-being of the participant. They must be able to take directions in a manner other than verbally (i.e. behavioral, communication device, etc.). The employee must be committed to the principles of normalization and support the potential of adults to reside in their own homes and communities. The employee shall: perform the duties of the job independently, organize, and prioritize goals and objectives. Job Description All Care Therapies is currently seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Physical Therapist Aide to join our dynamic Outpatient clinic! Responsibilities: * Assist in and perform patient transfers and lifts using proper body mechanics, according to standard techniques. * Assist the therapist in evaluations/treatments at the bedside and the rehabilitation gym (i.e., exercises, mat activities, orthosis fabrication, modality preparation). * Report treatment activities, patient progress, and any unusual response to treatment or incident to the therapist. * Maintain a neat/tidy appearance in all areas of the department, returning equipment/ supplies to designated areas * Regularly sanitize exercise equipment, mats, and assistive devices according to hospital safety and infection control standards. * Evaluate and distribute linen supplies, changing linens on treatment tables according to procedures * Maintain medical supplies in all treatment areas * Sustain organization in the closets regularly * Sweep soiled utility and equipment rooms at least twice weekly for therapy equipment * Assist in department communication processes-answer telephones, transit messages from nursing service to the therapist, communicate between therapists, etc. * Assist the therapist with delivery, set-up, and clean-up of the treatment area (i.e., patient room, rehab gym, splint set up) for patient care delivery We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function and level.
