Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths. Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning. Fill beverage or ice dispensers. Ensure cleanliness of the dining rooms and other areas. Ensure cleanliness of dinnerware. Serve beverages, water and other drinks. Set up dining tables as requested. Stack and un-stack chairs and put tables in order. Set up and maintain the Expo area Follow the cleaning calendar Clean the restrooms and ensure they are maintained and stocked. Check restrooms every 30 minutes to ensure cleanliness during peak hours. Clean the back dock are and keep it organized. Clean and maintain the chemical area and keep it organized. Interact and coordinate with hosts and service staff to ensure effective service. Maintain best practices in maintaining cleanliness in bussing services. Listen to and comprehends instructions from guests and coworkers over background restaurant Education and/or Experience High School Diploma preferred with the ability to work a flexible schedule (late shifts, weekends, or holidays).     Job Description Full-Time Behavior Support Staff (San Diego) compensation: $18.75-$21/hr DOE (*plus SIGN ON BONUS) employment type: full-time For a limited time, we're offering a sign on bonus. We are a small non-public school for students aged 5-22 with moderate to severe special needs and behavior challenges, located in Ocean Beach, CA. Our school has a Speech and Language Department, an Occupational Therapy Department, Community Based Instruction program, and a Music program. We are seeking to fill multiple 1:1 Behavior Support Staff positions to start as soon as possible. An applicant must be independent, flexible, creative, and detail oriented. We look for staff with excellent communication skills, a desire to learn more in this field, and that take initiative and can also work in a team as we have a dynamic multi-disciplinary approach. Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and be passionate about working with students with special needs. Experience working with the ASD (autism spectrum disorder) population and ABA (applied behavior analysis) are preferred. Experience working with people with special needs, an educational background in the field, or experience in an education setting is required. However, candidates who have personal experience that are seeking long term career opportunities will be considered. Training is provided. Applicants must be able to be physically active throughout the day (swimming, biking, hiking, running, etc) and be comfortable with working in the community. Our program follows a traditional academic school year calendar (September - June) with 7 additional weeks in the summer for our extended school year (July-Aug).
