Essential Functions:
* To use the Paylocity systems in accordance with State and Federal laws.
* Assists in answering employee requests and questions as requested.
* Runs reports from employee database as requested.

* Enters data into the HR Database(s), ensuring the accuracy of information.

* Conducts the hiring process for Direct Support positions, and additional positions upon request, including: review of applications, phone interviews, in-person interviews of potential candidates, employment verification processing, application review with supervisor, hiring, and scheduling of all pre-employment processes.
* Ensures proper and timely communication with applicable parties regarding new hire status and work eligibility.
* Processes background checks and child registry, ensuring confidentiality of the information.
* Ensures Personnel file check lists and orientation files are complete and accurate.
* Visits college campuses in an effort to develop relationships with appropriate personnel to enhance possible recruitment.
* Works with all Department Directors and Program Directors to assist in recruitment for positions as requested.
* Types and sends correspondence as necessary and within given timeframe.
* Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies.
* Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by supervisor.
* Assists the Director of HR with various research projects and/or special projects.

Essential Functions:
* To collaborate with the Director of Residential Services to ensure appropriate management of the residential programs, while serving as a direct line of communication between the Director of Residential Services and the residential managers.
* To provide oversight, consistent with established policies/procedures/regulatory requirements to Residential Managers, including support and evaluations, etc. Participate in a monthly update with each assigned manager.
* Ensure compliance and quality assurance in all applicable regulations, standards, codes, and policies; including auditing all required paperwork and program books.
* In conjunction with the Director of Residential Services, regularly review procedures and practices; to assist in developing and implementing systems to promote staff growth, development and retention.
* Management of the Budget in conjunction with the Residential Managers for the program you are directly responsible for.
* Write and present timely, object and truthful performance evaluations for the Residential Managers you are responsible for. Hold the Residential Managers accountable for completion and presentation of their Performance Evaluations to their subordinates.
* Serve as a presence in the homes via, at minimum, weekly program visits and observations to assure appropriate oversight.
* To work in a collaborative manner with the residential managers to assure effective and efficient staffing in conjunction with the needs of the programs, master schedules and budgetary constraints. Hold a weekly meeting with residential managers to coordinate staffing for assigned programs and to resolve any additional needs. Ensure that DSPs are cross trained for programs within the program director's assigned group.
* To participate in the interviewing and selection process of Residential Managers, Assistant Managers, and direct care staff as needed.
* To provide appropriate training for residential managers and assistant managers at assigned programs.
* Assume direct responsibility for the management of programs while the manager is on vacation, out of work, or when an assigned program is without a residential manager.
* To collaborate on a regular basis with appropriate team members, ensuring a person-centered approach is applied to the implementation of plans, programs, and activities for each individual.

Purpose:
To assist in the provision of a wide variety of person centered supports and services with a strong emphasis on personal choice and independence for people with developmental disabilities. Actively assist the Health Coordinator, Assistant Director, and Residential Manager with functions such as: medication administration, appropriate medication storage, medication inventory and ordering medications appropriately when needed, support Direct Support Professionals (DSP's) with nursing standards of care such as, bathing, repositioning, and dressings, and provide direct support to people receiving services.
Responsibilities:
· Actively promote/influence/support team members regarding health/medical information daily on site. Seek opportunities to assist DSPs in matters related to health and nutrition.
· Communicate and document medical/health information to health coordinators, people supported as appropriate, families, and staff in accordance with HIPAA standards
· Compile information for the RN such as for Surrogate Decision-Making Committee and/or intake packets.
· Assist with medical/health appointments to provide support and information, including attending the appointment if needed.
· Visit hospitalized/ill person to offer support, obtain and communicate information to the RN.
· Daily presence in the Residential Program.
· Develop and maintain a positive, influential and supportive professional relationship with all parties.
· Administer medications and provide direct support/care.
· Pursue a deep knowledge of the electronic software that AIM uses to document contemporaneous notes and to assist others in the programs with data entry.
· Seek/guide/and influence DSP's in their provision of “delegated health services.” Assist in ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations, policies and procedures.
· Audit and maintain health/medical department's files to ensure information is current (i.e. personal information sheet, nursing plans of care, etc).
· Conduct Medication audits as requested, document results; assure action is taken to address deficiencies and report findings to the Nurse and Residential Manager.

Requirements
Qualifications:
