The Bilingual (English/Spanish) Facilitator will be responsible for teaching basic skills to students with varying academic levels while integrating GED, college prep, and career readiness skills. Help students meet academic goals and prepare them to take and successfully pass the certain exams (particularly the GED) and prepare students for success in college/career readiness programs. Administer and score GED pretests and other standardized or internal exams. Occasional travel may be required.
Job Duties:
* Instruct students on material needed in order to earn his/her GED. Provide GED information to all individuals via phone, email, or in person on all options available to GED students.
* Help students prepare and study for GED and other exams. Assess student's readiness to take exams.
* Teach basic skills encompassing math, science, English, and Literature. Tutor students on an individual basis.
* Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into daily instruction and communicate them for all learning activities. Observe and evaluate student's performance.
* Utilize various curriculum resources and public library resources.
* Administer pre-test GED assessments and other assessments to students.
* Proctor examinations when necessary. Ensure the integrity of all tests and their administration.
* Assist with the administrative aspects of testing, including but not limited to: data collection, file management, answering phones, and making appointments for students needing accommodations.
* Comply with all jurisdictional policies and procedures as set forth within the testing guidelines.
* Manage student behavior according to Aims Community College Policies and Procedures.
* Work with the Adult Education Coordinator to ensure initiatives are being met.
* Facilitate adult basic education workshops.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree, plus one (1) year of experience working in an instructional capacity or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
* Bilingual in English and Spanish
* Familiarity with transitional programming (employment/college/vocational training).
* Experience in administering various types of tests, such as academic testing, and/or placement testing.
* Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks or requests while handling numerous interruptions.
* Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators.
* Experience with and technological proficiency in Windows-based PC's, Microsoft Office, and other software products.

The Residential Coordinator is a live-on position responsible for the management and administration of a university residential facility or facilities that house between 300-600 students. Position Summary:
The ASL Language Lab Assistant will provide ASL instructional support to UNC students enrolled in ASL I-VI campus-based and online coursework. The ASL Language Lab Assistant will facilitate individual and small group interactions to supplement and strengthen the language units taught in the courses.
This is a semester-long, part-time assignment that has the potential for renewal each semester, including fall, spring, and summer semesters.
Job Duties:
The ASL Language Lab Assistant must be a native/near-native ASL user who is a member of the Deaf Community, with the skills to accurately model ASL, identify the student's language challenges, and implement successful language learning interventions. In addition, the ASL Language Lab Assistant needs outstanding soft skills to meet a variety of students where they are emotionally and academically across three years of ASL coursework at UNC.
The ASL Language Lab Assistant will work independently and therefore will need to exercise critical thinking and judgment in all their interactions. As a member of the Department, the ASL Language Lab Assistant will need to be familiar with federal laws (e.g., FERPA) and UNC policies (e.g., technology users' policy), as well as some of the external regulatory bodies that influence the ASLIS philosophy and course design (e.g., American Council on Teaching Foreign Language, Commission on Collegiate Interpreter Education).
Finally, the ASL Language Lab Assistant will work with technology in the lab and at a distance and need familiarity with these media.

Position Summary:
The Academic Advisor is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position for the Center for Human Enrichment/TRIO Student Support Services (CHE) program at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC). The position exists to facilitate the recruitment, retention, and graduation of 200 program participants. This position exists within the Federal Department of Education funded TRIO Student Support Services grant and is responsible for ensuring that the objectives outlined in the grant are met. The program is contingent upon continued funding from the Department of Education.
The Academic Advisor position is a supplemental advisor role that works collaboratively with all CHE staff (including student staff), advises a caseload of first-generation undergraduate students, is responsible for maintaining accurate academic records for all CHE participants, serves as the liaison to other TRIO programs across the state, assists with program planning and implementation, and completes other program-related tasks as needed. This position reports to the Assistant Director. The ideal candidate will also come from similar backgrounds held by program participants.
Although housed in the TRIO program, this role and responsibilities of the position are consistent with UNC's professional advising job description for all professional advisors. The CHE Academic Advisor role exists as part of a campus-wide, integrated, and networked advising model aimed toward improving the retention of students and supporting meaningful connections with faculty and staff that lead to persistence and degree completion. As such, professional advisors are generally responsible for advising prospective and enrolled students in course selection and academic program planning consistent with the approved program curriculum and each student's interests and abilities. Regardless of college or program assignment, professional advisors are accountable for understanding and articulating to students the academic options and requirements of the University, College, and Department; and working closely with faculty and other academic support personnel to assist students. Position Summary:
The Executive Director of Gift Planning leads UNC's efforts to grow and elevate its gift planning program, driving long-term philanthropic support through strategic donor engagement. This role oversees the strategy for gift planning portfolio makeup and for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding planned giving prospects and legacy donors ensuring ongoing alignment with divisional portfolio strategy. In addition, this position works on the planning and execution of UNC's planned giving marketing strategy including collateral, mass email, and direct mail where appropriate. It also guides the development team in creating and executing innovative gift planning strategies and providing ongoing training. In close collaboration with the Assistant Vice President for Development, the Executive Director shapes strategic gift planning priorities and goals, ensures effective resource allocation, and serves as UNC's divisional specialist in gift planning-advancing university-wide priorities across both academic and non-academic initiatives.
In addition, the Executive Director position serves as the lead strategist for the Leadership Annual Giving (LAG) program, overseeing Associate Director of Development team member(s) to strengthen the major gift pipeline with donors contributing $1,000-$25,000 annually, including alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends.
