Air Cargo began operations in December 1941 and operated through most of the war.
Originally created in 1941 for use by the Airlines, Air Cargo, Inc. and its Air Freight Directory is an indispensable tool for Air Freight, Air Cargo and Freight Forwarders alike.

2001 Polar Air Cargo is acquired by Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings (AAWW). LAN Airlines' new cargo terminal opens in Miami.
2003 TransBrasil is declared bankrupt after request of one of its major debtors - GE aircraft leasing company.
2005 TNT announces in 2005 the extension of its Middle East Road Network and launches its first integrated road network in Asia.
2006 TNT acquires: TG+ in Spain, Speedage in India, Mercurio in Brazil and Hoau in China.
2007 Air India partners with GATI, a leader and pioneer in express distribution and supply chain solutions for a dedicated freighter service using the 737s.
Delta announces that the NWA Cargo hub will be shut down by the end of 2009.
2011 The two TNT divisions, TNT Post and TNT Express, split to create two separate companies.
Jade Cargo International officially announces the closure of the company and the start of liquidation proceedings effective June, 04, 2012.
On 27 September 2012 VARIG Logística S.A. is declared bankrupt.
