Reimagine What's Possible
The Right-of-Way Specialist is responsible for securing, leading and renewing land rights vital to support the construction, operation and maintenance of industrial gas infrastructure across North America. This role focuses on negotiating and acquiring easements, licenses, and other land use agreements, with an emphasis on renewals of existing agreements and support for ongoing asset maintenance projects for over 1200 miles of existing pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, display the ability to complete a general property title search, have a firm understanding of land agreements, pipeline engineering drawings and land title documents.
This position will be based at our office location in Houston, TX. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate renewals of land use agreements, including rights of way, pipeline permits, franchise agreements and servitudes while assisting with acquisition projects.
Lead outside land surveyors and right of way agents whose services are typically used in conjunction with right of way acquisition projects.
Coordinate with landowners, legal counsel, survey, project management and internal team members to resolve issues related to land rights.
Negotiate fees and process appropriate documentation.
Research and resolve property ownership using GIS, country courthouse records and other means available.
Project Coordination:
Support planning and execution of maintenance projects by securing timely access to required properties.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and legal teams to align land rights with project needs.
Work multiple, concurrent projects within the framework of a cross-disciplinary team toward company goals.
Maintain accurate records of all agreements, correspondence, and project documentation.
Develop and apply Due Diligence reports for large-scale operation and maintenance projects.
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Land Management, or related field.
3-5 years of validated experience in right-of-way acquisition, land negotiations, or property management.
Familiarity with Gulf Coast land use regulations and property law preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate optimally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and land management software (e.g., GIS, ROW databases).

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Operations Technician to join our operations team at the HyCO4 facility in LaPorte, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for controlling and monitoring the processes to produce hydrogen (e.g., steam system, compressors, rotating equipment, and DCS operation), performing equipment inspections and minor maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to following safety protocols.
HyCO4 is a new facility construction project, anticipated to be in commissioning and online in Spring 2026. It is an expansion and partner facility to the existing HyCO3 plant which has been in operation since 1996. The La Porte HyCO4 facility will be the newest production plant in our Gulf Coast Hydrogen pipeline network and a key expansion for our Houston Area Carbon Monoxide system. The HyCO4 facility incorporates many of the newest and most cutting-edge technologies anywhere in the world to create sustainable, low-carbon, Hydrogen while also capturing and commercializing Carbon Monoxide, rather than emitting Carbon Dioxide to the atmosphere. The HyCO4 plant is a step into the future for Air Products, the industrial gas industry, and a sustainable energy future for America.

Polar Tankers Overview
Polar Tankers, a wholly owned subsidiary of ConocoPhillips, provides marine transportation for North Slope production, using five company-owned, double-hulled tankers in addition to chartering third-party vessels as necessary. The tankers deliver oil from Valdez, Alaska, to refineries primarily on the West Coast of the United States. The company operates five Endeavour-class tankers: Polar Endeavour, Polar Resolution, Polar Discovery, Polar Adventure and Polar Enterprise.
Description
If you are selected as the Able Bodied Seaman (AB), you will be working under the direction of the Chief Mate and Master. The AB must have a good understanding of all deck machinery, cargo systems, and maintenance regimes, and be a prudent navigation and cargo watchkeeper. The AB is required to participate in all drills and emergencies and to assist with the enforcement of rules, procedures, regulations, and pollution prevention.
Position Overview
Your responsibilities may include:
Docking/undocking procedures (handling lines, securing ship, etc.) and assisting with loading and discharging of cargo
Standing watch, either as lookout or on the bridge steering the vessel
Performing deck related maintenance duties under supervision of the Boatswain
Working aloft in certain situations
Typically works two 4-hour watches per 24-hour period with overtime occurring routinely. You may not work more than 15 hours per day or 36 hours per 3-day period
When docking the A. B. may be responsible for:
Loading ballast and using a tape to gauge tanks
Tend mooring lines as needed to keep ship against the berth
Assisting in crane operations for cargo hoses and taking on vessel stores
Operating manual valves and/or checking mechanical valves for accurate operation (ship dependent)
Bleeding lines at the chicksan and removing/attaching blanks
Being alert for spills throughout the operation
Taking lines from the tugboat, throwing heaving lines to the dock, pulling back the messenger lines, attaching messenger lines to mooring lines and assisting in slacking the mooring lines
When undocking the A.B. may be responsible for:
Pulling in and securing mooring lines and assisting in handling the tug lines (placing the line over the bit, removing the line from the bit)
Operating mechanical winches as necessary which may require guiding/lifting of the mandel shackle (not on all vessels) and securing the deck at the end of the operation. This includes stowing of lines, anchors, pilot ladders, fire hoses, etc.
Performing maintenance duties including maintenance/repair of deck equipment/machinery such as rigging/tackle, boat falls, crane(s), mooring lines and wires, and all safety equipment
Assisting with upkeep of decks and super structure, both interior and exterior
Repairing and maintaining other equipment as necessary
Assisting with tank washing/repair as directed by the Mate

**About the role**

As Commissioning Technician, you will represent Conifer Systems and be responsible for pre-commissioning, commissioning, maintaining, and providing training for industrial combustion and environmental equipment including thermal oxidizers, flares, catalytic oxidizers, scrubbers, bag houses, skids and other equipment or systems and associated controls. Experience in Burner Management Systems (BMS) & in Fired Equipment is a requirement for this position.
This position will be servicing equipment in North America. +/- 75% Travel may be required.
**Key accountabilities**
+ Pre-commission and commission industrial pollution control systems.
+ Perform pre-commissioning checks and inspections to ensure that equipment and systems are properly installed and meet design specifications.
+ Conduct functional tests on equipment to confirm operation and performance.

+ Supports a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible.
+ Startup, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of open flare/enclosed combustion devices.
+ Testing of combustion equipment such as process burners, thermal oxidizers, and flares
+ Startup, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair production equipment.
+ Analyze electrical schematics and drawings to repair/maintain equipment.
+ Adhere to company policies, procedures, and rules.

If you are selected as the Offshore Oiler, you will be working under the direction of the First Assistant Engineer and the Junior Engineer. The Oiler must have a good understanding of all Engine room machinery and auxiliary systems to assist in recognizing trends, assisting with plant operations and troubleshooting, and responding to casualties. The Oiler is required to participate in all drills and emergencies and to assist with the enforcement of rules, procedures, regulations, and pollution prevention. In addition, the Oiler performs routine maintenance and assists engineers with repairs of shipboard machinery and is also responsible for making good rounds of the equipment, recording pressure and temperature readings, and reporting any anomalies.

Qualifications:
+ Candidates must be majoring in Electrical Engineering
+ Strong academic performance
+ Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
+ Positions are available spring, summer, and fall semesters
+ Availability for multiple work terms is preferred
+ A valid driver's license is required
+ Concurrent enrollment in a degree seeking program
