Perform standardized qualitative and quantitative tests to determine physical or chemical properties of food products, documenting all results accurately and timely and reporting any deviations to Plant Management. APTIM has openings for a Environmental Technician to work in a team to perform solid waste composition assessments of client waste containers ranging in size from 3 cubic yards to 40 cubic yards. These assessments are typically 1-2 days in duration with typical team sizes ranging from 2 to 5 depending on the size of the assessment. Work activities will include sorting through solid waste using hand tools to segregate waste items by type for the purpose of assessing various types of waste including plastics, paper, cardboard, glass, food waste and regulated materials. Assisting with the separation of the waste, weighing and inventorying items for the purpose of data analysis and reporting. This position reports to the Gas Operations Manager and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of landfill gas collection and control systems (GCCS). The GCCS consists of a series of extraction points known as wells, interconnected via piping. The collected gas is transported using gas conveyance equipment (such as a fan or blower). Landfill gas (LFG) collected by this extraction system from the landfill's wellfield is combusted within a flare. Proper operation of the GCCS is required to comply with various State and Federal environmental regulations. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Properly operate and maintain GCCS in a timely and cost-effective manner to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize performance. GCCS operation and maintenance includes: Calibrate, operate and maintain sensitive electronic data collection devices necessary to optimize LFG collection from the wellfield. Collect and manage data entry from wellfield extraction and environmental monitoring locations. Implement the GCCS preventative maintenance plan. Operate and maintain liquid management system pneumatic or electric driven pumps (troubleshoot and determine liquid levels within liquid containment structures and or LFG collection wells). Perform wellfield valve/vacuum adjustments, data collection and maintenance; interpret data. Use Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) or High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) piping materials and associated equipment to perform maintenance on piping materials. Complete the WM Landfill Gas Technician I Training. Develop basic understanding of environmental regulations related to GCCS operations and develop the ability to work within an environmentally regulated industry. Follow job related health and safety requirements and procedures. Available for on-call response to GCCS related malfunction event(s). III. Qualifications A. Quality Assurance Technician As a Quality Assurance Technician, you'll be ensuring our products meet our high standards from appearance and weight to regulatory compliance. You'll lead inspection activities, support investigations, and help drive continuous improvement across the production floor! What You'll Be Doing: Evaluate product defects and recommend solutions during inspections. Keep Quality Management informed of any significant issues or trends. Investigate failures and deviations to identify root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions. Collaborate with production teams to coordinate schedules and support new product launches. Ensure all staff receive proper training in operations, cGMPs, safety, and environmental practices. Verify ongoing quality checks for appearance, weight, torque, and other specifications. Audit production records and forms for accuracy and completeness. Assist with daily quality checks and support the team as needed. Maintain compliance with FDA GMP regulations and company quality systems. Perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Need to Succeed: High school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred. At least 2 years of experience in a quality-related role, ideally in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with SAP is a plus. Proficient with measuring and testing devices. Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Solid understanding of FDA GMPs and OSHA safety standards. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Clear communication with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. The Quality Technician's function is to perform various dimensional and visual inspections, create inspection documents, collect and document inspection data, work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Sales to report and resolve issues, and maintain document control in accordance with Beehive Industries internal quality system requirements. What You'll Do... Perform in-process and final visual and dimensional inspections on PMMA, Ceramic, Wax, Quick Cast, and SLA/FDM/DLP product per the schedule provided by the Production Planner Create inspection documents needed to perform In-Process and Final Dimensional Inspections Scan and upload all completed inspection documents to the digital Quality document system Communicate / work with appropriate engineer and salesperson to resolve identified quality issues on in-process and final product Review new job traveler inspection requirements prior to all job “kick-off” meetings Attend all new job “kick-off” meetings and provide feedback to the team on any quality issues/concerns Create C of C documentation for customer shipments when required.
