As Air Ticketing Specialist you will be responsible for the processing of ticketing requests submitted by agents as well as responding to service desk enquiries submitted for assistance with booking, pricing, air contract questions or any related airline queries. Travel Edge has invested heavily in our in-house reservation system ADX, and the successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for ADX fulfillment for all bookings issued as BSP and ARC. Responsibilities

Answer service desk tickets from agents to assist with ticketing, itinerary building, pricing options, contract questions, waivers and favors and anything else airline related. The emphasis is on pro-active selling of the preferred suppliers and finding the option that meets the agent's needs to obtain the best utilization of contracts.

Maintain up to date knowledge of all Air Contracts with all preferred suppliers to advise agents of their profit opportunities and to ensure ticketing is directed to the correct ARC for utilization purposes.

Ability to manipulate complex international itineraries for the purpose of best pricing options utilizing published and/or Net fare pricing options; also taking commission opportunities into consideration.

Process ticket requests from agents in multiple GDS systems including exchanges and refunds. Initially all training will be in Sabre GDS and then progress to Amadeus.

ADX fulfillment including manual ticketing when needed as well as all intervention needed on existing bookings.

Utilize excellent customer service skills to assist agents in resolving issues with their customer's travel arrangements.

Maintain personal agent queues for automated QC & schedule changes.

The Leidos Civil Group has an opening for an Airworthiness Specialist to support the Federal Aviation Administration Office of Aviation Data Systems Branch.

The Airworthiness Specialist will utilize their expertise in Aircraft Maintenance to support the branch's mission of collection, storage and distribution of aviation safety data. The selected candidate will work with various stakeholders including airlines and FAA SMEs.
Specific duties will include:

* Provide analysis support to ensure new and existing aircraft, engine, and propeller models collected are in a standard and acceptable format.
* Provide automation and data quality support for the collection and analysis of data related to abnormal and/or potentially unsafe mechanical conditions in aircraft.
* Provide support to analyze and verify information in the system through research of aviation regulations, orders, manuals, technical publications or specifications, edit, correct, and/or supplement information to maintain data credibility.
* Provide support to ensure accuracy and completeness of coded aviation service documents entered into the system of record.
* Provide support to analyze, review, and comply with all FAA/AFS policies, regulations (FARs), procedures concerning fire, safety, environmental protection, identification, security, conduct, limited access areas, proprietary rules, and release ability of data.
* Provide support to clarify any inadequate or missing information within the application.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Aviation or related degree or a minimum of 2 years' equivalent related experience in aviation maintenance
* Airframe and/or Powerplant Mechanic Certificate
* Demonstrated strong technical, research, and data analytical skills
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent logic and critical thinking skills
* Directly related work experience and a firm understanding of repair cards and Structural Repair Manuals (SRM)
* Structured, analytical approach to problem solving
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with minimal direction/guidance
* Understanding of data integrity and a keen eye for identifying discrepancies
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, & Access at a proficient level
* Experience providing quality User Support and Customer Service

Pay Range:

Pay Range $60,450.00 - $93,000.00 - $125,550.00
