Contract Review and Drafting: * Review draft agreements based on approved Airbus Americas templates customized by the business to insure adherence to the (i) Airbus Americas template (ii) Airbus Americas standards, (iii) Customer specific language and modifications, and general clarity for concept and language, ensuring appropriate attachments are incorporated, clarity of technical solutions, appropriate commercial conditions and suitable payment plans are included. Be able to analyze agreements to determine financial and legal risks. * Determine and catalogue the deviations from standard in draft agreements and determine when further approval is appropriate (by contracts management or appropriate specialists). Submit reviewed agreements for further review to the appropriate specialists (i.e. Legal, Tax, Finance, E&C, Insurance, etc.) as appropriate, work with specialists to resolve issues within the documents, and work with the business to determine creative solutions for Customer requested changes. Ensure final draft Agreements are routed for appropriate approval as per the Airbus Americas Internal Approval Policy. Other Duties as assigned: * Work with the various Business Units to educate them on the proper use of Airbus Americas templates, importation of templates and updated templates into BU tools, and proper validation of agreement drafts before submitting for Airbus Americas review. * Assist the Contracts Director with the development of the standard clause library, developing a library of standard approved clauses to be used in template creation, as well as specific clauses to be used on an as needed basis for irregular contractual needs. * Serve as the backup to the regional Contracts Director. * Ability to use flexibility and adaptive working styles to build and develop effective cross-functional team work. Ability to work in cross-cultural context with people of different cultural backgrounds. * Understand and provide overview process of the contract development, approval and execution process. What your day-to-day looks like: * Apply knowledge about integrated plant operations to develop/update the way control room operators run plants with operating procedures in normal, abnormal and emergency conditions. * Validate various scenarios in control room simulators, before they are used to train reactor operators and implemented in plants worldwide. * Scope of work will include the operating fleet (integrating operating experience and new scenarios) and the next generation of nuclear plants (SMR and microreactors), giving you learning and development opportunities in both worlds. * Develop test procedures supporting commissioning of new plants (like the AP1000) to demonstrate the functionality of components and systems from pre-op testing through the various startup phases. * Develop plant operation and operating procedure for the Westinghouse eVinci Micro Reactor and AP300 Small Modular Reactor designs to ensure safe, effective, and efficient operation. * Work with existing customers and internal team to develop and update NOPs, AOPs, EOPs, FSGs, and other related documents for the operating fleet including the AP1000. * Collaboration with new plant designers and licensed reactor operators to define the best and safest way to operate nuclear plants. * As an author of operating and test procedures, you may have the opportunity to support the commissioning of new plants worldwide. * Presence in our Cranberry (PA) headquarters is preferred but remote work will be considered. Key Responsibilities Technical contribution: Working together with the R&D Project Manager and other R&D team members, you will perform research to consider technical solutions that will meet the defined requirements, perform proof-of-concepts, recommend specific technical solutions, provide effort estimates & schedule the specific work tasks, execute the development work as planned, and fully document all work activities. Embedded Firmware: You will add embedded firmware capabilities to communication, control, and IO modules, port existing firmware to new specialized hardware platforms, troubleshoot & resolving firmware bugs, and validate functionality by analysis & testing. Embedded Hardware: Working together with a dedicated hardware engineer, you will perform analog and digital circuit analysis, design, implementation, debugging and testing. This role involves the development & maintenance of high-reliability microprocessor-based measurement products, communication products, and controller/CPU products, for use in real-time Distributed Control Systems. Manufacturing Support: In this role, you will ensure all products are manufacturable, and you will assist the Industrial Engineering group to resolve manufacturing-related issues. You will also provide support for the development and maintenance of manufacturing test equipment and procedures. Processes and tools: Use the PCP Agile development process to plan and execute development projects employing Azure DevOps and the other standard development tools. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree (or Master of Science Degree) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required. Minimum of 4 years of related experience, depending on degree. Understanding of embedded real-time platforms, and experience, training or knowledge developing and de-bugging real-time applications in embedded electronic environments. Experience, training, or knowledge of Field Programmable gate Array (FPGA) development tools and simulation tools using VHDL programming language. Experience with C and C++ programming languages, and experience using a software debugging environment.
