Key Responsibilities: Perform tasks as assigned by the Lead/Supervisor and outlined in the scope of work. Remove all trash from aircraft. Clean and restock all lavatories. Clean galley, all seats, seat back pockets, tray tables, and replace soiled magazines and sick bags. Conduct thorough security searches and submit all Lost and Found items to the immediate Supervisor. Review and adhere to safety instructions when operating and driving ground equipment. Always maintain company vehicles in a well-organized and clean manner; assist in pre and post operation inspections (POIs) of vehicles during the assigned shift. Review posted updates on Cabin Cleaning or Ramp Operations before each shift begins. Ensure all break room areas, warehouse areas, and dock areas are clean and free of debris. Perform duties in a consistently safe manner, ensuring no damage occurs to any company vehicles, airline vehicles/equipment and/or aircraft. Ensure actions do not cause injury to self, employees or agents working in common areas. Report any injury or property damage immediately to Shift Supervisor and provide written statements as requested regarding any such injury or damages. Immediately notify Shift Supervisor of any irregular activities that may impact service to airline partner(s). Additional Skills and Abilities: Must sign or clock in/out at the beginning and end of the scheduled shift. Proper uniform attire is required when reporting to work. Safety measures must always be taken including wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during assigned shifts and as part of the uniform. Adhere to rules and regulations outlined in Employee Handbook at all times. Demonstrate respectful and helpful behavior to fellow employees, airline personnel, passengers, and other company employees working within the assigned area. Must be capable of reading and understanding flight schedule(s). Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable. Must secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable. A valid driver's license is required by airport authority in order to operate a vehicle or equipment. Job Description Shop Porter Maintains a safe, clean working environment for all dealership team members and clients. Essential Duties but not limited to this list: Cleans the service and customer areas. Performs routine building maintenance in such a manner as to minimize interruption of customers or employees. Wash all windows, glass doors and glass panels throughout the service area. Mops, or vacuums, and cleans service waiting area, offices, technicians' locker room and lunchroom, halls, and shop bathroom. Sweeps technician stalls, service department, halls, and vending areas. Cleans all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans, and vending machines. Maintains hot beverage areas by cleaning counter surfaces and related supplies as needed. Cleans bathrooms and restocks paper supplies as needed. Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary. Cleans power equipment. Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside. Maintains equipment and cleaning supplies. Cleans oil storage tanks according to procedures. Removes any old scrap parts from shop after checking with parts manager. Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs. Understands and complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations. Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection. The Service Porter is responsible to greet each customer as they arrive in the service reception area and transition their vehicle to the service center for maintenance and/or repair. This position has a variety of tasks to serve customer and associate needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Nurture a culture of extraordinary customer and associate experiences. Execute consistent processes to assure favorable customer and associate experiences. Drive and park vehicles. Stage customer vehicles for maintenance and/or repair. Execute courtesy car wash services to Premier customers. Pick up and deliver customers (shuttle) as instructed by the manager. Retrieve completed vehicles for customer delivery post repair. Monitor, maintain and freshen washrooms, lounge, café, and facility. Report progress, challenges, options, and solutions to assure outstanding results. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Prior recognitions of achievement and performance. High energy, likable persona. Positive, competitive, and persistent attitude. Hours may vary daily to meet business demands. Typical full-time schedules run 7 to 8 hours five or six days a week. Typical part-time schedules 4 to 8 hours six days a week.
