The position: The Aircraft Dispatcher interfaces directly with customers, business partners and internal departments within the company, and reports to the Lead Aircraft Dispatcher. We are looking for candidates who want to make a difference! This job requires the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks throughout your entire shift. Calls can become stressful at times so the ability to keep your composure during these situations is key. Must be able to make many rapid decisions concerning safety, flight regulations, and the economy of operations, willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays, willingness to work outside in the elements at times as this position assists the grounds crew when needed.
Duties:
Allocate resources (Flight Crews and Aircraft) for the completion of requested flights
Research and complete logistical processes required for the active assignment
Develop a flight itinerary which will be provided to flight crews, management, and customer
Responsible for real-time monitoring of all active flights and serves as the primary point of contact for all information related to the flight
Responsible for coordinating ground transportation, catering, and hotel arrangements as necessary for flight crews and customers
Responsible for towing aircraft, managing ground power equipment and marshaling aircraft
Follows all Federal Aviation Regulations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors degree preferred
a valid Aircraft Dispatcher License or proof of current enrollment status
Prior aircraft dispatching experience preferred
Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Job Functions: * Refine and implement the short and middle range crew schedule of ATI aircraft. Maintain positive communication with crews of all schedule changes. Minimize costs on crew movements and overtime pay with efficient crew utilization decisions.
* Ensure compliance of applicable FAR(s) and the two collective bargaining agreements are followed in all crew scheduling practices as they apply to ATI.
* Responsible for maintaining accurate documentation regarding crew schedules, legalities, collective bargaining agreement compliance, and internal processes.
* Maximize crew capacity and proactively plan for coverage changes due to unforeseen circumstances. Develop multiple recovery options to ensure best decisions are made during irregular operations and assist with recovery implementation. Escalate relevant issues to Senior Crew Schedulers and/or management in real time.
* Coordinate with internal departments that affect all crew scheduling assignments. Not limited to Crew Planning, Travel, Maintenance, System Control, Flight Following, Finance, and Training.
* Communicate all operational and crew related issues to Senior Crew Schedulers, Manager of Crew Scheduling, Chief Pilot, and Director of Operations.
* Establish a positive baseline relationship with the flight crews.

Position Requirements:
* Associate's Degree or High School Diploma (equivalent) with relevant work experience
* Previous experience in a fast paced, dynamic work environment. One (1) year scheduling experience or related experience in aviation, customer service or completion of a Bachelor's Degree.
* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
* Must have strong attention to detail, exceptional multitasking ability and must be capable of
* working independently with little direction. Must have the desire to see projects through completion.
* Ability to manage, prioritize, and make decisions with multiple competing variables and priorities.
* Must have sound judgment, financial acumen, analytical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
* Must possess confidence and maturity to support the needs of the operations.

Preferred Job Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or Aviation related field.
* Two (2) years of experience in an aviation related field or scheduling environment.
* Experience applying federal regulations and collective bargaining agreements.
* Familiarity with aircraft performance, aviation weather, flight planning, and airport operations.
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to stand, bend, and reach in order to maintain files. Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time and operate a keyboard/mouse. Ability to hear and respond to requests in an open office setting that can become noisy at times.
* Light to moderate lifting is required
* Comply with ATI attendance requirements. The Crew Scheduling department is a critical function of the ATI operations system and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Flight Coordinator - US Based (Remote)

Solairus Aviation is currently seeking an experienced Flight Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be a team player that is willing to go above and beyond to ensure the highest levels of service to our clients and flight crews. The Flight Coordinator serves as the central point of contact for aircraft scheduling between Solairus Aviation clients (aircraft owners and charter customers) and flight crew and maintenance personnel. The position is responsible for scheduling the aircraft and crew and for arranging all services in conjunction with scheduled trips.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties
Receive trip requests from clients and work with them to schedule the aircraft.
Provide clients with creative solutions to effectively meet their travel needs while ensuring safety of the operation and adherence to regulations and policies
Provide clients with a detailed flight itinerary for each trip
Effectively and accurately communicate all aircraft schedule information to client, client's staff, and Solairus flight crew and maintenance personnel.
Arrange trip logistics and service items as necessary to support the client and crew, including:
Make travel arrangements for flight crew (hotels, rental cars, etc)
Arrange passenger services as requested (catering, ground transportation, etc.)
Arrange landing and over-flight permits, airport slots, ground handling, security, and customs clearances for domestic and international destinations
Assist crew with visas and other international entry requirements
Provide required documentation for and communicate with various government agencies for domestic and international operations, including Customs and Immigration as applicable.
Coordinate aircraft movement in concert with the Pilot in Command to ensure that all airspace, airport, and duty time restrictions are complied with
Provide flight following to clients and ensure that all support services are arranged and confirmed per the schedule.
Monitor flight and duty time limitations for flight crews to ensure compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Flight Operations Manuals.
Assist flight crew as necessary with trip analysis and planning to determine feasibility, options for fuel stops, crew augmentation, etc.
Maintain a current database of all client and flight crew contact information and preferences for each assigned account so that it is readily available to all Flight Followers.
Qualifications

Ability to work with the Solairus flight planning and scheduling software, and the Microsoft Windows and Office Software.
Ability to interact effectively as a team member with other Flight Coordinators.

Knowledge of aircraft dispatch principles and aircraft trip planning principles including knowledge of FAA regulations, airport information, resources available for trip planning, aircraft and trip support, and weather monitoring.
Ability to quickly learn and assimilate Solairus flight operations standards and policy.
Well organized and meticulous

Analyze monthly staffing requirements against owner demand in order to proactively manage any short-term staffing deficits.
Responsible for scheduling coordination of OE tours and PIC upgrades.
Ensure accurate updates to crewmember s schedules in CAMP, the company s centralized aviation database.
Coordinate implementation of staffing/training plans with various departments.
Research and resolve conflicts regarding crew schedules.
Update ILC schedules in CAMP based on aircraft commander crew schedules.
Reconcile crewmember s schedules to ensure accurate crew payroll reporting to HR. This includes paid time off, overtime and per diem reporting.
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Director.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business or aviation preferred.
Required two to four years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience or a Flexjet employee with proven results within the company.
Required two years related experience either in a Scheduling or Planning environment at a 135 or 121 airline operation; equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior Planning or Scheduling experience within Flexjet preferred.
Thorough knowledge of FARs in regard to Part 91, 121 or 135 airline operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Proficiency with Microsoft software applications (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word and Outlook).
Must have excellent analytical skills and strong decision-making skills.

As a Flight coordinator you will serve as a central point of contact for the Helicopter Flight Operations. You will interact with the department manager, executives, employees, and customers while providing the highest degree of customer service, confidentiality, and attention to detail. You will execute all aspects of flight scheduling, office administration, Weather, FAA regulation and company policies and procedures, to include that of AAG, oversight of department staff scheduling, as well as assist in the assignment of aircraft and the overall schedule.
What you will do
Oversight of department staff scheduling and assist in the approval of time of requests
Assist in the scheduling and stacking of trips in accordance with regulations, company policy and with an emphasis on efficiencies and cost reduction.
Receive trip requests via email and/or phone and build with detail and accuracy
Interact/communicate with customers internally and externally with a high degree of professionalism
Provide quotes for charter inquiries
Produce various reports for company departments and clients
Liaison with Director of Operations and/or Chief Pilot regarding new landing sites, safety and security policies, Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs)
Process Waivers for sporting events
Manage flight schedule with efficiency and knowledge of client ownership
Partner with the Director of Maintenance for availability of aircraft
Flight Follow all aircraft movements
Assist accounting with bill reconciliation
Overnight On Call responsibility
Crew briefing
Monitor crew duty time
Secure ground transportation and hotel reservations for crew members
Secure ground transportation for clients if applicable
