How you will contribute
You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets. You will execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.
* Diagnose and repair production equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment
* Repair, maintain, and upgrade electrical equipment
* Read and understand wiring schematics
* Perform PLC troubleshooting and programming - Experience using test equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues (Multimeter, megger, thermography, etc...)
* Knowledge of industrial 3-phase equipment, controls, VFD drives, PLC, and control devices (e.g. Allen Bradley, ABB, and Foxboro)
* Must be able to troubleshoot and repair up to 480V equipment
* Perform calibration of 4-20 mA instruments and other low-voltage systems.

**Job Description**
Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Performs Maintenance, Repair, Launch, and Recovery activities on military aircraft.

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Position Summary
As the Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician, you will impact PSA Airlines' business growth by conducting aviation repairs and services that allow for operations to be on time. By executing maintenance procedures in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company standards, you are ensuring safe and reliable flights.
Job Responsibilities
Will perform tasks necessary to comply with Federal Aviation Regulations and accept the responsibility for work performed by themselves and/or in conjunction with others and sign for same on the Company's approved forms.
Keep work areas clean. Return all equipment and tools to assigned areas. A&P Technicians will report all inoperative or faulty equipment to the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Mechanic in charge.
Work will consist of and include any and all phases of repair and maintenance of aircraft with the aid of the employee's own tools, specialty tools provided by the Company, the use of test equipment, and Company-supplied technical manuals.
In certain cases, and A&P Technician may be authorized to perform required inspection items and assist in Company training programs.
Will at the commencement of each repair or inspection initiate the proper documentation. Parts tags will include a complete description of the discrepancy on all removed parts. Determine if the work to be performed is a Required Inspection Item.
Verifying, through proper documentation, that any part installed on any aircraft or component is approved for that aircraft or component and has been visually inspected and is free of damage or contamination.
Assure that hangar workshops and other areas assigned are maintained in an orderly manner.
Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor through the Lead Mechanic.

Basic Qualifications:

Proficient with using USAF Technical Orders, the Data Transfer and Diagnostic System (DTADS), documentation of AFTO 781 forms, and entering data into the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS).
Experience with aircraft launch/recovery, performing preflight, thru-flight, and basic post-flight and corrosion inspections.
Prior experience as Refuel/Defuel, Aircraft Jack, and Tow Team Supervisor.
Prior experience performing other miscellaneous aircraft services including but not limited to Lox, Hydraulic, and Engine Oil, service aircraft tire/struts, and must be familiar with handling HAZMAT/HAZWASTE materials.

* Read and interpret maintenance manuals and FAA/manufacturer publications and directives to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
* Perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft or ground support equipment
* Work with the team lead or manager on upcoming maintenance activities
* Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment
* Read and interpret pilots' discrepancies to diagnose cause
* Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand or power tools
* Organize and maintain shop floor /environment from clutter or debris
* Learn procedures and steps for higher level assignments
* Complete required paperwork to comply with Federal Regulations and company procedures
* Maintain parts inventory with aircraft and report all parts received from headquarters
* Act as customer service representative with tasks as requested by management /pilots, assist pilots with aircraft servicing pre /post flight
* Independently develop work schedules and assignments to accomplish job responsibilities
* Deploy with the aircraft on spray operations/tests/demos as needed by the customer
* Fly with the aircraft on spray missions as a spray system operator
* Maintain the spray system in accordance with engineering documentation and FAA approved manuals
* Responsible for completing expense reports in a timely manner < 14 days
* Troubleshoot and repair systems (OEM and STC's)
* Operate the spray system in the aircraft during low level spray flights
* Other duties as required
Skills/Qualifications:
* Relocation to the Weyers Cave, VA area required
* High school diploma or GED required
* FAA A&P certificate required
* Avionics /electrical knowledge required
* Valid US Passport
* Minimum of 5 years aircraft experience of Boeing 737 or like series aircraft experience desired
* Ability to travel away from home location for 30 days based on customer needs (longer if needed)

* The starting hourly rate for this position is between $20.00 and $32.00 depending on your prior work experience. Based on your performance, you are eligible to receive a step increase of $1.00 each year based on your pay anniversary date until you reach $35.00. Once you have reached the maximum pay rate, you are eligible to receive a retention bonus of up to $1,000.00 each year.
* When you work on a Contour Airlines observed holiday, you are eligible to receive holiday pay which is paid at 2 times your hourly rate. Summary of Essential Duties:
* Read and utilize blueprints, maintenance manuals, ATA codes, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments.
* Updating maintenance and repair logs
* Running diagnostic tests
* Perform routine maintenance operations or repair of the aircraft including aircraft engines, power plant and /or aircraft components according to all specifications.
* Perform hourly, daily, and monthly inspections and examinations of aircraft components, including de-icing, hydraulic systems and landing gear, for leaks, cracks, burned areas, foreign object damage, warping, distortions, missing segments, wear, breaks, or other issues.
* Perform inspections during assembly of part and after repair or installation of component.
* Documenting maintenance procedures to include component damage, component origin, and condition of component, components, or equipment.
* Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational process and procedures.
* Performance of daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repair, and alterations of aircraft.
