Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Principal Level Commissioning Engineer to support the development and implementation of all aspects of the Commissioning Program for leased/owned data centers. This role, with an expert-level focus on the mechanical discipline of Commissioning, will serve as the primary liaison between Senior Engineers, Principal Engineers, Senior Managers, Directors, and VPs across the AWS team and external Commissioning Vendors.
As a leader in the Data Center Capacity Delivery (DCCD) organization, you will research, develop, and ensure meticulous and timely delivery of our Data Centers. Principal Commissioning Engineers are hands-on, producing both detailed technical work and high-level program designs and process frameworks. They will aid in establishing testing methodologies, drive standardization, and increase quality across all AWS building sites.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in commissioning, program development and sustainment, and cross-functional collaboration. They must have a proven record of leading commissioning programs on large-scale critical infrastructure deployments, including Quality Control (QC), Startup, Functional Performance Testing (FPT), Integrated System Testing (IST), and cost- and schedule-mitigating measures. This position requires excellence in a fast-paced environment and the ability to manage concurrent responsibilities while supporting parallel initiatives.

Key job responsibilities
* Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for mechanical systems and the commissioning program for AWS leased/owned data centers
* Lead and support AWS pre-construction and construction management teams for new data center design and process improvement
* Lead and support AWS product teams and Principal Engineering for new data center design, new products, and product enhancements
* Lead and support reviews of design specifications, testing requirements, and test procedures and standards for adherence to commissioning specifications
* Lead and support workshops that drive alignment on key issues, construction practices, data center designs, and initiatives with the focus of increasing the effectiveness of construction and commissioning while enhancing customer experience and operational excellence
* Assist in Development and delivery of technical training programs for commissioning teams, to ensure consistency in procedures and knowledge transfer
* Conduct regular quality assurance audits of commissioning processes, documentation, and field execution to maintain high standards and identify areas for improvement
* Lead Correction of Errors (COE) investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of preventive measures to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency
* Participate in technical interviews for commissioning team members and contractors, ensuring the selection of qualified personnel aligned with AWS standards

Essential Functions
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures and varied drilling and riveting operations; ensures parts/assembly meet requirements. Safely perform sheetmetal layout, fabrication, and installation of parts, equipment or fabricated items on aircraft 2. Rivet structural assemblies and parts using all tools required to do the job (e.g. portable riveting guns, pneumatic guns, pneumatic drills, counter sinks, rivet shavers, files, reamers, rivets). Must display the ability to remove fasteners without damaging structure 3. Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations, type size and hole pattern for rivets, cut and form plastics and follow standard operating procedures when using adhesives, sealants, and solvents 4. Check all work and ensure a defective free assembly prior to final inspection 5. Maintain and use all logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs) 6. Align and assemble parts to be riveted using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners. Utilizing proper tooling, shape and form complex angles and configurations according to blueprint specifications or written/verbal information 7. Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO), performs necessary rework to ensure installations meet conformity 8. Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supports the company 5S Program, and complies with all safety regulations. Use personal protective equipment as required Additional Functions: 1. Properly collect and dispose of waste fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids, de-icing fluids, and solvent rags 2. Ensure accurate daily job charging to the aircraft 3. **Your duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to)** **:**

**Basic Qualifications** **:**
+ Must have a High School diploma or GED and 4 years additional education and/or experience with mechanical/aircraft airframe/power plants/turboprop/egress/avionics and/or crew chief experience.
+ Must have the ability to read and interpret technical data and blueprint drawings.
+ **Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).**

Primary Level Salary Range: $55,800.00 - $93,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Responsibilities Position Summary
As the Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician, you will impact PSA Airlines' business growth by conducting aviation repairs and services that allow for operations to be on time. By executing maintenance procedures in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company standards, you are ensuring safe and reliable flights.
Job Responsibilities
Will perform tasks necessary to comply with Federal Aviation Regulations and accept the responsibility for work performed by themselves and/or in conjunction with others and sign for same on the Company's approved forms.
Keep work areas clean. Return all equipment and tools to assigned areas. A&P Technicians will report all inoperative or faulty equipment to the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Mechanic in charge.
Work will consist of and include any and all phases of repair and maintenance of aircraft with the aid of the employee's own tools, specialty tools provided by the Company, the use of test equipment, and Company-supplied technical manuals.
In certain cases, and A&P Technician may be authorized to perform required inspection items and assist in Company training programs.
Will at the commencement of each repair or inspection initiate the proper documentation. Parts tags will include a complete description of the discrepancy on all removed parts. Determine if the work to be performed is a Required Inspection Item.
Verifying, through proper documentation, that any part installed on any aircraft or component is approved for that aircraft or component and has been visually inspected and is free of damage or contamination.
Assure that hangar workshops and other areas assigned are maintained in an orderly manner.
Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor through the Lead Mechanic.

Task Description: Aircraft Mechanic II (23022):
Aircraft Mechanics II must have a combination of experience to repair engines, sheet metal, and structural, hydraulic, electrical, power train and general mechanical maintenance of moderate difficulty, required to meet the assigned missions. Additionally provides input to Maintenance Engineering Changes (MEC), Estimated Cost of Damage preparation (ECOD) and assist in the recommendation of changes to (MWO). Individuals must be able to prioritize workloads and are required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks. Mechanic IIs can inspect Mechanic IIs and Is. This mechanic maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components, applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation, and applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals. Must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts, requires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair, must have basic knowledge of electrical theory, must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers. This job requires working knowledge of technical publications. The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records. Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects. May require specialization in sheet-metal, electric work, avionics or other aircraft systems related disciplines.
Skill and Knowledge: Shall have the ability to troubleshoot malfunctions in various aircraft systems and be able to perform general Organizational Level maintenance and possess one or more of the specialties of the assigned aircraft below:

Responsibility: Performs requirements in accordance with the procedures established in the PWS. Performs diagnosis and corrective actions, disassembles, inspects, evaluates, and accomplishes necessary repairs, lays out work according to technical instructions and technical directives. Determines what repairs, modifications, and part replacements are required. May be required to verify work performed by another for which he/she is qualified to perform.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**

Radiological Engineering and Health Physics personnel are required to achieve/maintain applicable SRS qualifications.

WORK HOURS: A 40 hour work week is scheduled. Basic Qualifications:

As the Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician, you will impact PSA Airlines' business growth by conducting aviation repairs and services that allow for operations to be on time.
