Overview:
The Machine Maintenance Mechanic performs repair, modification and preventive maintenance tasks on CNC machinery, building equipment fixtures and systems. This role will also troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Responsibilities:
Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains CNC machinery as well as standard facility systems.
Performs routine preventative maintenance operations such as maintaining an accurate TPM record, lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. in accordance in manufacturers operation and maintenance schedule and guidelines.
Performs routine and assists with complex trouble shooting and repair of mechanical equipment and systems. (Requires the isolation of the malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of bearings, gears, structural components, etc.)
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; soliciting information from line operators and other production associates and listening for problems.
Uses precision measuring and testing instruments, gauges, power tools and other hand tools to complete essential functions.
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment to return to safe operation.
Assists in the movement of equipment and furniture as needed.
Performs basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
Reviews service requests for repairs and maintenance determines nature of problem and recommends appropriate solution.
Performs required preventive maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc.
Qualifications/Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
5+ years of maintenance troubleshooting experience.
CNC machining center experience preferred, including Mazak, Nakamura, Samsung, Okuma and/or DMG Mori.
Experience working with PLC's and working with AC/DC Motors/Drives
Experience with electronic wiring/circuits and schematics
Experience with industrial electrical needs related to machinery

Proficient reading engineer drawings, blueprints and technical manuals.
Must possess good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

**POSITION PURPOSE**
Performs preventive maintenance, repair, modifications and other maintenance of aircraft, components and related equipment in accordance with standards and regulations.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**

+ Performs maintenance mechanic duties in all areas inside and outside the hangar as well as at the airport terminal.
+ Troubleshoots all aircraft systems. Executes maintenance work orders.
+ Uses tools, equipment and test apparatus necessary to assure completion of the work in accordance with accepted industry practices. Verifies that all calibrated tooling is current on its calibration before use. Verifies materials and parts used are of a serviceable condition.
+ Verifies that each part or component is effective for the aircraft on which it will be installed.

A Day In The Life of an A&P Mechanic
The position you are applying for will be under general supervision. You are responsible for the maintenance, modification, and servicing of aircraft and aircraft components following the manufacturer's specification and FARS.
Essential Duties of The A&P Mechanic
Perform routine scheduled maintenance and aircraft inspection by ACC's and current manufacturers' specifications.
Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
Modifies aircraft systems or components following drawings, engineering orders, and technical publications.
Assemble and install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories using hand and power tools.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs to minimize aircraft downtime. Requires ability to travel.

Supervises the jacking and towing of aircraft, enters in the maintenance records description of the work performed and verifies the work was performed satisfactorily, service engines and airframe components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition, specialize in work, repair and modification of structural, precision, and functional spare parts and assemblies, and specialize in engine repair. May be required to be licensed by Federal Aviation Administration. May require specialization in sheet-metal, electric work, avionics or other aircraft systems related disciplines. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) licensing of contractor employee technical proficiency is not required. An Aircraft Mechanic I shall be the equivalent of a Marine Corps Collateral Duty Inspector.

POSITION PURPOSE

A Day In The Life of an A&P Mechanic
The position you are applying for will be under general supervision. You are responsible for the maintenance, modification, and servicing of aircraft and aircraft components following the manufacturer's specification and FARS.
Essential Duties of The A&P Mechanic
Perform routine scheduled maintenance and aircraft inspection by ACC's and current manufacturers' specifications.
Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
Modifies aircraft systems or components following drawings, engineering orders, and technical publications.
Assemble and install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories using hand and power tools.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs to minimize aircraft downtime. Requires ability to travel.
Review maintenance records and flight logs to schedule prescribed maintenance checks and overhauls.
Process all necessary documentation and paperwork for processes completed.
Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
Comply with all quality, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Aircraft Mechanic III (23023): Leads a team in the performance of aircraft maintenance, inspections, and scheduled / unscheduled maintenance. Processes the technical experience to supervise subordinate mechanics and provide technical guidance on maintenance operations on the airframe being supported. Capable of performing, supervising and inspecting the duties of Mechanic Is, IIs and IIIs. A person in this position maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components, and applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation. This worker also applies professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals. Work typically requires a thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems. A detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc. is required. Mechanic III / Maintenance Control Supervisor Functions: The Contractor Aircraft Mechanic III shall be able to release aircraft safe for flight using local Safe For Flight checklist, assign project/priority codes and direct cannibalization actions to meet the unit's maintenance plan and daily flight schedule. The government maintains the authority to release aircraft safe for flight when determined necessary. Final review and acceptance of aircraft prior to flight will reside with the pilot in command by signing an Aircraft Inspection and Acceptance Record “A” sheet. The Contractors training and qualification program shall include procedures used to train and designate contractor employees to certify aircraft safe for flight. Primary focus of the Aircraft Mechanic III is to manage the CFT priorities.
Skill and Knowledge: Shall have the ability to troubleshoot malfunctions in various aircraft systems and be able to perform general Organizational Level maintenance and possess one or more of the specialties of the assigned aircraft below:
